Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Door handle works fine. I purchased the same handle over 10 years ago, and am pleased with this relplacement. September 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by . Looks ok. Doesn't work always. Appearance ok. It does not always transmit when pressed. May be defective. Cheap price. Actually working more important than price. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid and Beautiful This entry lever replaced a contractor-grade Kwikset, and was intended to match the deadbolt, which was also a Kwikset replacement (Schlage Camelot Touch). Unlike the deadbolt, it was a direct replacement for the Kwikset - no drilling or mortise work required. This entry lever engages smoothly and solidly every time, which is important for the automatic lock feature of the Schlage deadbolt. The finish is flawless, and I have every confidence that it will stay that way. Honestly, I would rate this product 5 star all the way were it not for the fact that the trim plate had "play" in it, even after the screws were fully tightened (and yes, I had the recommended door width and was using the correct screws). This minor issue was easily solved by inserting a gasket I made from sheet rubber, using the old trim plate as a template. It probably wouldn't have been a problem, and some people might not even notice, but I'm just a perfectionist that way. :-) August 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality... Internal components break with extended use...locking you in/out of the house I have this style handle throughout my home. I've lived here 9 years. In that time I've had to replace 3 of the keyed handles. The handle to my back yard was replaced about 7yrs ago and just recently that same handle broke again, locking my other half outside in the rain. I had to physically break the broken lock out of the door (internal components broke and the latch wouldn't move). The finish is badly yellowed and peeling as well. My front door is a different style of schlage.. It also needed to be replaced about 3 years ago. The schlage replacement never was that good (always a little "sticky")... Interior handles are all fine, but I think I'm going to replace all the locking handles with a higher quality brand. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for price Great product! Easy to install and very reasonably priced. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quality product Easy to install. Took less than 5 minutes. Looks good. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Keyed entry locks We love our new locks, but noticed that the bathroom ones have easy to push button lock, where as the entry locks are much more difficult little turn button locks. The big question is,"WHY"? If the push buttons are so much easier why isn't there modified kits for the push buttons or better yet make all your locks push bottom instead of turn locks? Thanks ( this would also be ADA compatible) March 8, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality entry door lock/handle A brass $40.00 door lock/handle by Schlage- purchased to replace a similar door knob. Everything about these units is fine except the internal machining. Loose tolerance between parts allows for the handle to be fairly loose as evidence by how much one can jiggle it back and forth laterally once installed. Not sure if more expensive units are better machined. Seems most units at this price point are similar. January 6, 2016
