1.4 cu. ft. Over the Range Microwave in Black is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap and good It's a cheap microwave, but does the job. Looks good from a distance, but closeup reveals itself as plastic, with easy to leave fingerprints on matte finish. Door opens and closes loudly. Keypad is 1990s. Fan is strong and a bit loud, with only one speed - high. Heats well enough. Best thing was that it fit my old Hotpoint opening and several of the anchor points/holes, so installation took my son and I only a couple of hours For 200 bucks delivered - good deal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap design doesn't hold up I strongly advise not buying this product. Sharp Carousal micros were great in the beginning, but this "over-the- range" model has been redesigned with a plastic door button (from the older metal models), which cannot take the heat from a stove top. I bought mine in June, 2011..and the button has failed twice since. It is a design flaw and the plastic warps with heat. Getting it repaired is a disaster..a routing center in Jamaica and customer relations in Illinois....beware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Replacement I bought this as a replacement for a Sharp Carousel, this fit exactly as the previous. Although, it did require a little extra work fitting and aligning the existing exhaust duct to the unit, aligning holes for the bolts and the power cord. The microwave is huge on the inside. The cooking programming is exactly the same as before. I read other reviews about the fan being a little noisy, but I have no complaints about the fan at all. No problems so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good little oven We aren't into microwave cooking per se......... mostly use it to reheat and for making that scrumptious bag of calorie laden popcorn. Our old microwave had a setting for the LARGE bag of popcorn, where as this one has settings for SMALLER ones! The only inconveniences at this time is that you have to add time for a large bag of popcorn, and you can NOT program a time to cook, other than 1 minute intervals. (a dinner you want to heat for 4 1/2 minutes has to be set for 5 mins....... and then you manually shut it off at 4 1/2 mins). Another draw back is no handle on the door. I'm guessing the front will not remain as nice as one with a handle. For the money though....... it is a good deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yes We have a 1996 Sharp Microwave in our main home which is still working great. This unit was used to replace an old over the counter unit at our second home. It was very easy to mount, and fit in the old cabinet space perfectly. We especially appreciate the "MINUTE PLUS" feature. this is a great product that we would recommend to anyone. Roger

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mounting plate method needs to be re-engineered The microwave itself has a large food area, strong venting, but small and insufficient lighting for the cooktop it is mounted over. The food heats quickly and evenly. My concerns for this unit are: #1 I'm replacing an identical unit which suddenly refused to heat anymore and which wasn't over 2 years old--gives me a bad feeling about the dependability; #2 The mounting plate which the microwave fits onto is cheap and flimsy, hardly able to support the unit and woefully unable to withstand any bending at all. This should be made of steel, not aluminum! The whole mounting method needs re-engineering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat buyer Had this microwave for years, it came with the house I bought. Very satisfied with product so I decided to replace it with the exact same model. Initially the LED display did not work then the plate turning function stopped working on the old one. We use our microwave frequently so it must be durable. Good price, great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oil spatters on front hard to clean This replaced an old Sharp over-range microwave, and the finish of the plastic on this model is much harder to clean. Since it sits right above the range, the oil splatters from sauteing land on the plastic, and the plastic can't be cleaned as well since it has a matte surface instead of the shiny black surface we had previously.
