Answer:
Aprox. 5HP. On modern 4 cycles you can take the cc and divide by 31.5 to arrive at approximate HP, being aware that carburation and other factors lower and raise that number, but 163 to 166 cc roughly equals 5 HP

I would say yes. My wife is kinda girly weak but she got it started no problem (I made her lol) and she maneuvered it through our lawn no problem.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND THIS MACHINE WORKS REALLY WELL. LIVE IN AN AREA WITH LOTS OF TREES. THIS BLOWER FAR EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS AND HANDS DOWN BEATS THE BACK PACK BLOWER AND THE PRICE IS A REAL VALUE. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND BUY ONE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent value I have a smaller yard about .75 acre and I didn't need the power of some of the more expensive models. I read all of the reviews before purchasing this and I have to say that I disagree with some of the issues people discussed. I find it very easy to start, one pull does it each time. You do hae to make sure it is properly primed but it is one pull everytime. I also find the blower is very easy to manuever over different types of terrain. I gave only a good on features becuase I wish that there was a throttle control. Sometimes it would be helpful to be able to slow it down. Overall well worth the money. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 150 MPH 1,200 CFM Walk-Behind Gas Leaf Blower Product started almost right away but made a terrible sound... so bad I though it was defective but it was the exhaust flap adjuster which wasn't tightened properly at the factory. Tightened it and it works like a champ now. High marks across the board except for a slight quality control issue with the exhaust flap. Average score for features as it only works at full throttle which is mostly okay except at the end when piling leaves for municipal pickup. Highly recommend it for value, ease of use and for people over 50 who need a little help. I call it my landscaper in a box! November 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Southland gas leaf blower The blower works pretty well once you got it started. The wind speed is actually a little lower than what I expected since it's rated at 150mph. The unit is a little difficult to start if you followed the instructions printed on the unit, but if you prime the button 5 to 6 times before you try to start it instead of the 3 times like the printed instruction suggested. The blower will usually stars without any problems. December 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Quality Control I bought this leaf blower online a month ago and when it arrived I went to use it the wheel fell off. It was missing the end cap and washer. I also noticed the foam on the handle was missing also. I contacted Southland customer service. They told me the end cap was back ordered. After two weeks I contacted them to find out the status and I was told they had just come in an the parts would be shipped out that week. A week later I still have not received anything from them. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purchased 3 months ago Have had this unit for one seasons of leaf blowing. It was one of the best investments of the fall season. I live in a wooded area and leaf removal from my yard use to be an all day effort. Now I do it in less time then it takes me to mow my yard. I have used backpack blowers in the past for this work and this blows those away!! :) If you have a LOT of leaves this is the way to go. December 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Solid with a Few Limits Machine works great on mostly flat spaces. Uneven surfaces present a bit of a challenge/bit more work. This is because of the 3 wheel design in my opinion but the unit also saved me a great amount of time. Suggestions, easier access to oil plug, better packaging process- misc washers and nuts floating in box, fuel gauge on cap, option to lock out from wheel or perhaps bigger front wheel. Overall I would purchase again at this price point. December 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Quality...Works as Intended....Can be hard to start Nice quality. Mine had a wheel damaged in UPS shipping. Southland sent me a new wheel with no problems. Very courteous customer service. Mine started on the first pull when brand new. However, since then starting has been inconsistent. Sometimes it starts right up sometimes not. Doesn't seem to matter whether the engine is hot or cold. Gasoline is the same I use in my lawnmower and that has no such problem. December 15, 2015
