Honestly, a ripping bar that doesn't break is about the only requirement here. This thing has been indestructible.

Ripping bar does what it's supposed to do - help with demolition work and prying nails out with the claw end. Used it this weekend for prying old shelving units off a wall.

I was having a hard time getting some old parts off my truck, so I reached for the ripping bar. It took quite the beating and performed as expected.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LongHauler THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB!
I'm a Truck Driver. I bought this 24" Ripping Bar for one purpose: Pulling nails out of the wooden floors of trailers that I haul. (Some shippers secure loads by nailing wooden braces in to the trailer floor. Most delivery locations rarely bother to remove the nails that don't come out on their own during unloading.) This 24" Ripping Bar is just the right length, and the curved claw end provides plenty of leverage for prying stubborn nails out. I wish the chisel end were a little more low profile at the tip (making it easier to raise deeply imbedded nails enough to hook them with the claw end) but I'm not complaining. GREAT TOOL!

Perfect length and weight. Super strong and durable and yellow - more than the picture shows !!! The 36" one is just too long for most if not ALL jobs these things are good for. So good that this got tolen along with my Estwing Axe from my yard... so I had to buy another one of these also !!!
Well Worth it !!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DAH4 Has been great to get those really tough nails out, when my little pry bar was not enough.
I have a bunch of wood I reclaimed from a house I am remodeling. I have a pry bar and a couple of hammers of different sizes. There were some stuborn nails that were hard to remove. This ripping bar did the trick, fork right size, plenty of leverage,,, made pulling a breeze!
