My hosemobile leaks badly from the reel where the hose attaches to the hosemobile.

There is a place on the side where the short hose connects to the hosemobile on one end and to the faucet on the other end. There are notches where the hose attaches to the reel and it says to repair inside remove. I have done that but can't figure out what to do to fix it inside the reel.

Make sure you've got a washer at the connection, and I found that two inexpensive pairs of pliers help secue the connection.

The weight of the hose is too great for the poor construction of the hose reel. On the handle side the reel is nothing more than cheap plastic. About two weeks ago I was trying to reel the hose in and the handle side totally collapsed. I had to completely destroy the rest of the cart just to get the hose off the reel. If you only need to store the hose on the cart one time, it's OK. But if you intend to use your hose frequently, go to a metal hose cart. Don't trust Suncast unless they change the design of this cart.

They all work fine, except for the short hose that is provided, it is made from inferior material. This piece kinks and on several now seems to have delaminated. I have had to replace 2 and eventually will have to re-do them all. This is a major flaw I believe as the reel assembly itself is quite durable, but the short supply hose is poor quality and does not last even one season. Thank you.

I do not give a strong recommendation. Plastic construction may not be durable over the long run. Wheels around awkwardly, tall persons have to bend way down to move it easily. Hose connections are difficult to tighten, mine frequently leaks. This is a budget unit only, be sure to use a quality hose that will not buckle or twist itself as mine does.

It's also not heavy enough to sit still on it's on when you pull the hose. The weight of the hose tips it over. Wish I could get my money back. For the same money combined, we went online and bought a metal one that works like a charm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hose Reel Review I found the reel to be very difficult to use because of the instability of the carrier. It is too light to allow a hose to be properly applied in a consistent fashion. Would not recommend the product without the manufacturer providing some way of stabilizing to the ground, perhaps with ground stakes?
