Will the noise affect my dogs at all?

Doesn't appear to affect the neighbor's dogs.

will this repel snakes?

Asked by: jo
The only thing that repels snakes are certain birds, like owls, hawks and eagles, snake fences and I believe bull snakes keep away rodents and rattlers..sometimes loud vibrations will send a snake or two away but it must be powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Darn thing does work I bought two similar devices online a couple of years ago. We live in a rural area and we were having a mice problem. The mice were making a home under our brick stoop. There would be little tunnels in the mulch and I know they must have been living underneath. After trapping with regular traps and using Dcon I was beginning to wonder if I was attracting other mice that were roaming around. I purchased the first two and put them in the ground. Filled up the little holes and the problem was gone. It must really be annoying to them. When those finally wore out I searched online till I saw Home Depot had this product also. I ordered 4 to always have one on hand. I had my doubts on this type of pest control but I have to admit it solved our problems. We are pleased with the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The good and bad of it I bought 6 of these to cover my yard well. Spread around some vole repellent, repaired the vole damage to my lawn and watched. The Pest Repellers immediately started with the tone and buzzing when I placed them in the yard. I have not see any voles or new damage. The problem is, 3 weeks later all but one has stopped working. Now I get the fun of trying to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I agree with the reviewer on U-tube; the Sunforce Solar Pest Repeller seems to ATTRACT squirrels. As another reviewer noted on U-tube, this product seems to ATTRACT squirrels. Too bad I didn't read his review earlier. I bought it to deter squirrels coming up for sunflower seeds dropped by birds at my bird feeders. Instead, with this device fully functioning in the sun and planted in the ground near the feeders, I looked out to see about 6 squirrels (more than usual) eating the birdseed crumbs. I saw one squirrel playing with another and backing into the Sunforce Solar Pest Repeller. He didn't even know it was there! I want a refund on this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does its job The gophers had my yard tore up with their tunnels. Since using the solar pest repeller they have moved along. I have told family and friends about this product. Also I will be buying another one for my front yard before the little creators think they are going to start nesting there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good. So far this gizmo is working and all of our neighbors have moles. You need to purchase at least two of these and put them 50 feet or so near each other. I have three. Cross your fingers and hope it continues to do the job. Also I thought I had to buy batteries to help it work but there are no batteries required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Two months and no moles This item is super easy to click together. No battery required and it works all night. The one catch is it makes a buzzing noise that might bug you but that is why it works. Also you need to have two of them about 50 feet apart to get the best results. I noticed both of my neighbors have moles but I don't.
