Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mary I am happy with my toaster
I had been looking for a 4-slice toaster at an affordable price (<$70), and had been making some research. Finally, I found this item at homedepot.com and decided to order it. I do not regret my decision, even if it does not toast the baggels evenly (which toaster does...???). But I love the angled design as well as the extra-wide, self-adjusting slots. Concluding, I would recommend it to other costumers who cannot afford a very expensive one.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by pierreoo takes too long to toast bread
I bought this toaster so I can toast bread faster but I don't think it's any faster than the black & decker toaster it replaced. So I think that 40% faster advertisement is false..

We recently bought this toaster after a couple of iffy experiences with other brands. We are very happy with it. The slanted, wedge design is a great idea, which really helps with access. Also, it does a great job cooking the toast. Sounds obvious, but in fact not all toasters do. If you're looking for a toaster with a better design, choose this puppy.

We replaced an older model tfal toaster with this one.
It works fine if you are a shortstop and ready to catch the toast as it pops up. The spring tension is so high that I frequently go to the toaster and think to myself, "I thought I put the bread in already, Hmm...an I going crazy?". I look closer and what do I find, toast on my plate, sink or floor!"
