These are very nice looking doors. The instructions could be better, they really need to stress the fact that the rollers are NUMBERED and need to be applied in sequence...if you mix up the numbers on the rollers the doors will be all askew ...there is no handle for opening ,but they have a sort of Chinese elegant look i suppose.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jennyb Beautiful door, but finish comes off easily
The door is perfect for what we needed in our home- we had moved into a house with an odd sized opening to the master bath - 57" rough opening, framed opening ended up being 55". With the door installed and closed you can see about 3 or 4 inches of the door overlap but it looks just fine, can barely tell through the frosted glass. By luck the finish on the door is the same color as the other doors in our room. However, on one side of the door the metal sliding pieces aren't covered and are very noticeable. Would be perfect for a closet but it looks a little funny in the bathroom. Also, the finish comes off extremely easy. We put the doors up and then had to lay them back into the box they came in until we finished a project and when we looked at them again to put them up, the finish came off in many spots just from the cardboard.

I replaced a small closet type door and side shelves of my pantry with the Cherry grand sliding door. Not only did it give me more access to my pantry it looks very nice in the hallway. In fact, I am replacing the same closet type door and side shelves in my linen closet with the same sliding door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin Frist set of closet doors that help the room not just cover up the cloths.
Heavy doors, set off the closet wall as a feature wall in the room. Adds depth to the room. Added can lights in the closet and gives the room a relating vib at night with the doors closed.

Don't vacuum near them or the tape used as stain will rip. Buy extra slide dudes you will need many. One bump by a toddler and they break leaving the doors to swing fall off their track and land on your toddler.

Laminate framed doors are very cheap feeling and the floor guide is so ugly we could not use it. These doors would be ok if they cost $100, but not at $277. The laminate also had some factory imperfections in the finish that could not be touched up.

We placed this set of sliding doors in between our front living room and dining room where there used to be pocket doors. We had a set of drapes hanging there to block the living room in order to save on heating and cooling costs for a room we rarely use. Our dogs kept pulling them down when they played & we didn't want to rip out the two side walls in order to install a set of very expensive pocket doors so this was a better alternative. They look sleek, clean and expensive. However, they are cheap laminate and over priced for the material quality. Should be $169, not $299. Easy to install and do a good job saving on heating/cooling costs compared to the drapes and they look good so we are happy. Now I can create a craft room and keep the dogs out.
