What size pipe is needed for this to attach to?
Asked by: hi
My pipe has a 1.5" ID with a 1.9" OD. I returned this product because this auger has too small of an ID for my pipe so I'm guessing it is for the next size smaller pipe.

Installed the augers by myself. Only regret, I should have ordered 8 foot poles instead of 6 foot. It was that easy to drill into the lake bed. They did not slip or come apart. I'm positive if I want to back them out or adjust them they will come up. I'm ordering more.

The product appears to be fine but the description does not include the ID of the auger to fit the OD of a given pipe. Unfortunately, I had to return the product because it did not fit my pipe. I notice others have twice asked this question with no answers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong part? They are not even close to 12" long. They are about 8" long. I am not sure why this should matter as the parts are nice castings with powder coating. I think they should be just fine. There is also a dimple cast 180 degrees opposite from the threaded bolt. If I am correct, it shows they cut a fat corner to save money on fabrication cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check your situation before buying these Although I would recommend these and found them to be high quality and a good way to secure a dock, be sure to check the river or lake bed, prior to purchasing them. For me, the riverbed was to hard and rocky, making it impossible to screw these into the ground. I ended up just using the end of the poles, which has been working fine.
