Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mandy Good stairway solution
I needed something for grip on my bamboo stairway, but didn't want a carpet runner that completely covered my beautiful new flooring. I have large dogs and they kept slipping on the slick floors. I researched many different options, but many options were either too expensive or completely covered the flooring. These were the perfect solution. While the quality is "okay" and the grip is not super strong, they have now held up for a few months. Plus they are easy and inexpensive to replace if needed. I also figured that b/c the adhesive isn't super strong, you can replace or remove them without a huge ordeal. I think this was a great option for my need, although I wouldn't put them in an area with high traffic or rough use. Suited my need for my stairs and I would recommend.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rus112 Just as described, and easy installation
The tiles were just as described by others (very thin) and they look somewhat underwhelming prior to installation. The great part about this is how easy it is to work with! Cutting those dificult corners and akward angles is easy because the product is so easy to work with. There was no color variation from box to box (I ordered enough to cover about 250sq ft). This project was intended to add some comfort to an otherwise dreary basement. Be sure to clean the floors throughly as to insure a good bond. I installed these tiles directly on concrete. Once finished, it was a pleasure to walk barefoot on this carpet, (not as hard as you may think). It is in no means as soft as plush carpeting, but an otherwise cost effective and still comfortable option. Be sure to order an extra box or two as backups.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by homedepotdiva exactly the look and feel I wanted
At first I was disappointed at the tiles because they are so light and basic, but just not used to this material. Laid them out and could see they looked great, so cleared out furniture, washed down the hardwood floor, chalk line and started, finished in about 3 hours. Looks exactly how I wanted it to. Matches the style and decor of the room perfectly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Harris Looks great and very easy to install. Great for low traffic areas.
This inexpensive carpet looks great and was very easy to install. Covered a 10X12 room in less than 2 hours, including cutting carpet for doors and built in book case. It is fairly thin so probably would not recommend it for high traffic areas but is excellent for our guest bedroom.

Tiles are thin, but looks great when down. Color and pattern are great for basement. Completed a huge thousand square foot basement in a weekend
I would highly recommend

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unhappycustomer This product is too thin for carpet.
These tiles are very thin. If you need to know how the thin the best way to judge is go to the carpet section of the store where they sell indoor, outdoor carpet by the linear foot. Look at the thickness of the indoor, outdoor carpet this is about 1/3 of that thickness. The box was so light when I first picked it up I thought it was empty. If you go to the store and pick up a ceramic tile hold it in your hand the entire box of these carpet tiles weighted less than that one ceramic tile. I took these back to the store I feared if I put them down they would tear when I vacuumed.

First of all, let me say I bought these for a commercial application.
After reading reviews I thought I would give them a try. As others have said, the tiles are VERY thin. When the boxes arrived, I was amazed at how light they were (not a good thing). The sticky backs are not very sticky at all. The best way to describe the tiles would be to relate them to the thickness and texture of felt.
They might be okay for a residential application, but are not the quality needed in a commercial building.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MelTx Good do it yourself product
These carpet tiles are not high end, but they do the job just fine. They are very easy to lay, easy to trim with a box knife or even scissors. Clean the floor of dust and debris, they stick just fine. If you have a dusty subfloor or don't get them lined up just right, it is easy for dust to get under and start to lift the edges which does make vacuuming difficult. These would be better used in areas with less traffic.
