Frustrated says it all. I purchased a Trex 36â conversation and two folding Adirondack chairs in April. When the three items arrived, two out of the three items had manufacturers defects (it was not from shipping, the packing materials were more than adequate). On the table one of the boards on the top surface was warped so bad that if you placed a glass on it, it could tip over. One of the chairs had a great deal of scuffmarks on the sitting surface of the Trex. On the second chair the bolts required to assemble the arm of the chair were not long enough to even put the nut on! Overall I was very disappointed since out of the three items, all three had some sort of issue. I hauled them back to the store, received a new table (that was OK) and one chair that I thought was OK. For the chair that had the incorrect length bolt, I didnât want to take another gamble, so I called HD customer service for the correct bolts and when I received them they were the wrong color. Then in August I realized the back crossbar on the legs of one chair was loose. I realized the one side was missing two screws on the leg crossbar. Called Trex customer service and was told that the two screws that I did have on the opposite side were not even the correct length. Now I could no longer get the crossbar together probably because of swelling, so all I could do was ask for the hardware because neither Trex or HD would take it since it was not covered under the 30 day Trex warranty and it was outside of the HD return period. Overall the furniture is nice, but be very careful and thoroughly examine it when received. I must have extremely bad luck or Polywood/Trex has poor quality control! For the price you pay, they should be in perfect condition. Donât even get me started on return/ warranty policies. Again very frustrated. I would recommend going to a patio furniture store to buy this type of furniture because it is clearly a gamble when you buy online.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Alex excellent choice
these trex outdoor products are great. I first got the two adirondack chairs and the side table to start to see if i liked the product. Very easy to assemble. It came and it was beyond my expectations. I am 6'3 and it fit me perfect. High enough backs so i can put my head back and deep enough chair that it fits my legs. I was so happy with this product that i bought the outdoor table and 5 chairs and two rocking chairs with a side table!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by b0t59 A little disappointing
The chairs are heavy and weather proof as advertised. The screws provided for the arms are too short - just flush with the outside - not even long enough for the washer, never mind the bolt. Other reviews reveal that this is a common problem. For the price of the chair, one would expect that the manufacturer would not cheap out on the screws. The ones on the base are longer - the same size is needed for the arms. The number of reports of this problem, and the obvious indifference of the manufacturer, lead to my lack of a recommendation to buy.

I like everything about this chair but the posture of it. It sits up a bit too straight for an adirondack chair (which I feel should be a little more reclining). The color is good, the ease of assembly was good, the size is very good, the weight is solid. Not yet sure how it wears, but time will tell. It does look nice on the porch, and in my salt air environment should do better than real wood.
