A Great product. We did the livingroom, dinning room and Kitchen. It looks great. It was the first time laying a floor. It was very easy to lay. The color is beautiul and clean up is a breeze. My neighbor saw it and he did his Livingroom, bedroom and den. I am going to start to do the guest room and then the rest of the bedrooms. A great product.
I highly recommend the Dupont Elite Flooring.

I expected at least some frustartion when I decide to do this job, but was pleasantly surprised. Use a mitre with a good blade and a dust bag or do the cuts outside if you want to avoid a tedious cleanup, the dust is very fine.
We have 2 kids under age 5 and a big dog and the product is holding up excellent.
Cleaning is a piece of cake.

This product was much easier to install than I had expected. Two of us in one days time, quickly installed it in two rooms cover a total of almost 400 square feet. The rooms when finished are absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate in using the product again.
Thanks Dupont and Home Depot.

I have used Pergo and this Dupont is 100x better. It feels better, it is quieter when you walk on it. Goes down in much easier than the Pergo. The attached padding is great. It holds up well and does not scratch!! I will put this in my next home!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Firsttimer Difficult to snap in place
The product is a little harder to install then they make out. If you want to get it under the door frame moulding without removing the moulding, they imply that you can pull it in place. Well the product does NOT want to snap together UNLESS you raise it up about 15 degrees. This makes it hard to install where ever you are trying to go slightly under a door frame so that the gap will be invisible. (You can't put a molding around the door frame.) I suppose the experts removed the doorframe molding? or pulled it away?
Another problem is that when you put in a 2nd piece in a row, the 1st peice tends to get loose and you continually have to go back and forth knocing every piece in the row until they are ALL finally in.
I did not like that.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by trousseau4 Easy to install and looks great!!!
After a lot of research we decided to purchase the Dupont Elite flooring for our newly finished basement. We attended one of the Home Depot classes and they used the Dupont for their demo. The class was very helpful and installation was a breeze. We completed an area of about 600 feet in one weekend. The preattached foam underlayment made installation quick and easy. It is durable and easy to clean and looks great. I plan on completing other rooms of my home with this product in the future. This is a far superior product to Pergo or Traffic master.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rtorres Looks like real wood!
My neighbors wanted to see what was going on with all our remodeling and were extremely surprised to find out they were standing on laminate flooring. We had it installed due to laying 1,200 sq. feet.
We actually were going to buy engineered wood but could not find anything close to the cherry color of this DuPont product. After seeing all the scratches and markings on real wood, we decided to go with this laminate. Thus far, all markings simply wipe off.
The biggest con we heard about laminate is the "hollow" sound it can make when walking on it. This product with its built in foam layer eliminates it almost completely. Very pleased with this decision. Looks Great!
