I bought this to wash an old truck, since it has soft bristles (still would not use for my newer vehicle) and I already had the Unger extension pole. Within the first 2 minutes the bristles flattened out and the brush became useless. Soft ends on the bristles mean nothing when all bristles are laying flat against the brush. One of the most useless pieces of garbage I have bought in a while and did not expect that from a HD-sold product (and when they have had a display for Unger products for a while). Thankfully not much money was lost, but it would take more gas and time to return it. After one use, there is nothing to do but throw it away. It has no use for anything.

I have their squeegee version, which is feather soft; I was hoping this would be a lot stiffer -- it's still pretty soft, good for scrubbing gelcoat, probably not for a deck (unless, of course, gelcoat.)
Mine arrived with two clumps of bristles unattached; they're bound with maybe 1/8" of metal wire at the bottom; I'm sure they'll fit back in their holes if I can find them, which I can't -- so they're not missed.
Good water flow, as with their other model, when using their pole. Now if they'd make one out of cinderblock for an outdoor deck...

Bristles are soft and clean windows well without scratching. But they break off over time and do not work well for scrubbing bird droppings or tougher stuff off of siding. The rubber guard comes off easily but is not really needed, it just is annoying when scrubbing to have it wiggle around. This is probably my 3rd one in two years as a window cleaner, just using it as a brush not on a water fed pole system. They work well but don't last. But they are cheap enough I keep coming back

Yes, you do only get the brush head. But it only took me a minute in my garage to find a pole that would screw onto it. An optional pole is available that attaches to your garden hose. But I find it holds enough soapy water to wash a door on an average car. I really like it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bbass56 Great brush for all types of washing
I use this brush for washing the car and the house. It has a screw on connection for a standard pole or it can also handle the push button poles. Nice and light, didn't weigh the pole down like some other brushes I used. The bristle's allow you to get a good cleaning without scratching anything. Great brush. I will buy another one when this one wears out. Used it about 10 times and it's still holding up.

The soft bristle brush is light weight and easy to attach to our extension handle to wash the siding on our house. Using the siding cleaner and water, the bristles didn't scratch the siding and it removed the algae without a lot of scrubbing. This one is a keeper.
