This is an ultra-modern deco art type of light fixture. The light is emitted from artistic designed ½” strip openings in the metal face of the fixture. When you look up at the fixture you see a light design that looks like crossing runways at an airport. It is a clean and beautiful look. I am surprised about how well the room is illuminated by the fixture given how little surface area of light projection there is. It works great in a 12’x12’ room. The installation of this fixture is much more difficult than most LED ceiling light fixture. This is because it has a very unusual approach to hanging the fixture. There are two pieces to the fixture. One piece, the hanger part, is a square metal plate that is screwed to the junction box. The slots cut in the plate, through which you put a screw and then screw into the junction box, do not allow for fine adjustment. This lack of adjustability can cause it to be almost impossible to get the square fixture parallel to the walls in the room if the holes in the junction box have not been installed exactly perpendicular to the wall. In simple terms, you cannot twist the fixture to square it up. Second of all, the method used to slide the main light part onto the hanger can be frustrating and hard to complete. The fixture is very heavy thus tiring to hold over your head very long. Also, it is tedious to push the fixture up to ceiling in the right position, keep the wires out of the way and slide the fixture onto four screws on the inside of the fixture. When completed the fixture stays in place through the use of a magnet. There needs to be some refinements to the design of this fixture to make it easier to install. All and all, this fixture is almost like an art centerpiece for a room. It is like having light and an abstract art design on the ceiling. I like it. But the difficulty of the installation takes away from my rating.

We bought this and a couple other vonn fixtures when we redid our kitchen and dining room. They are definitely different and that is why we chose them. We have them on dinners that run off Alexa and they work great. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. Also I was worried that the dimming might cause a buzz like some others do....no problem at all with these working on kasa dimmers.

It looks great and I had no trouble installing it. It is helpful to have a second person to help out when installing.

This light looks amazing

This is a nice light but it offers no rotation adjustment. What that means is that when you line up the holes in the light's bracket with the holes in your can, there is no way to adjust the bracket so the light sits the way you want it. If you want the sides of the light to be parallel to your walls, you better pray that your can is in the perfect position or the light will be askew. I'm guessing most people will want the light to be square with their walls but most people probably have a can that isn't in the perfect position to allow for this. There is also a typo in the instructions which will give you some grief if you catch it because it relates to the number of screws you need to use.

I got this couple of days ago and installed. it is beautiful and no noise. if your Dimmer switch is old maybe this is the reason you hear noise but as I installed new generation and compatible dimmer switch , I don't hear any noise. easy installation as well.

In addition to a nicely styled product, the construction of the light fixture is excellent. A well designed and innovative mounting system secures the fixture to the ceiling.

Beautifully packaged, (attention to detail as white gloves were included to handle) top notch product. Although more than average cost. . .its worth it as quality is unsurpassed. I would buy from this company again. I already have my next purchase in mind. Love, love Vonn!!

The light is awesome.....except.....we had to use a dimmer switch as the light is exceptionally bright and as a result, it has a loud humming sound when turned in - would NOT recommend

The light has been installed for a couple of weeks now. We are happy with it. It was easy to install. Instructions were good. It has plenty of brightness on an 8FT. ceiling above a kitchen table. It has a very nice look to it overall especially when it is illuminated.
