I was worried that the patchwork effect of all those patterns would be gaudy, but actually, the patterns and colors we got were pretty subdued for the most part. We ordered four boxes and each had about the same selection of tiles, so there's some cohesiveness to the room as well. Installation was a breeze. My only complaint is that two of the tiles had irregularities that were bad enough that we couldn't use them as whole tiles, but were able to use parts of them around the edges of the room. All in all, I'm very pleased with the floor, and blown away by what a good value these tiles are.

My covered porch needed a makeover that this old gal could do herself! (I'm 83 years young!) After I brush painted the porch floor I laid down the Versatile. WOW! It was so easy to lay...and to reconfigure to my satisfaction! I love it! My cat loves it! And my jealous neighbors have ooohed and ahhhed over it! To quote old Larry Welk himself: "Wunnerful! Wunnerfu!"

Simply a great product. Tiles are big so they cover the area fast. Took me about 4 hours to do about 950 sq ft of our basement (which includes cutting/trimming). Get you some knee pads though.
Product comes in boxes with about 12 tiles each (we had 23 boxes delivered). Boxes weigh between 5-7 pounds. There are 5 small strips of double sided tape on the back of the tile which you peel off before placing the tiles down. I recommend purchasing some extra double sided tape becuase when you cut the tiles you will lose the the area where the tape was so it will need to be replaced. Also it is good to add extra tape around areas where you cut the tile around objects (basement floor pipes, poles, stairs, wall corners etc).
You will probably get a couple of odd tiles so its a good idea to open up a couple boxes and prepare your layout first. I got only 1 cherry red and 1 bright green tile in 23 boxes, so that shows you how odd they were. Those tiles were discarded. Most of the tiles are in the brown, blue, dark red, greys with some beige ones mixed in.
I installed the tiles in the basement right on top of the cement floor. You do not need to install a moisture barrier or anything, just sweep up the floor really good. If your floor gets wet, you will probably just need to replace some tiles every so often, or just take up the ones that got wet and hang them out to dry, and then restick. This is just speculation as your situation could be different.
All in all, they look great when they all come together. Wife is happy, so I am happy.

This flooring was very easy to install. The little tape tabs are sticky, but allow for adjustment after a square is placed. Fine for basement or casual use.

I was looking for a way to cover my cold cement floor in my garage which I am using as a quilt studio. The garage is insulated and walls are up so I needed to "warm" up the room. These carpet tiles were a great find. They go down easily, look fantastic and if my dogs/cats make any mess, they come right up. They really made the garage look like another room of the house. So the "mom cave" is ready for play --- For a 2 car garage I ordered 8 boxes --- I still have some left over --- which I figure I can use if I need to replace at any point. They all look great -- maybe one very strange piece, but who cares?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DCmoving Definately worth trying!
We were skeptical about how room would come out and worried about colors, but love the way the mudroom came out! The carpet tiles were easy to install (we didn't buy any extra tape - actually didn't use the tape on the back and the tiles stay in place perfectly). The tiles were not super easy to cut (we used a cutting blade), but not awful. The instructions don't mention that you need to cut the way the arrow is pointing, which definately made cutting easier. We would definately use again and recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VSU04 Lovin' VersaTile carpet squares!!
VersaTile carpet squares were an excellent buy. They were fun and easy to install. Even cutting the odd pieces was easy to do with a razor blade knife and a straightedge. It is low pile and backed with rubber to keep dirt from sifting through to the bare floor. Less dust, less for the allergy sufferers to deal with. We WILL buy more carpet like this for more rooms.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Virge GREAT TILES FOR THE PRICE
This is great carpet. Decided to use for basement finishing, as if something spilled, just take out a tile and replace. Very easy to install. Sticky tabs on carpet back work well but we decided to use double stick carpet tape in adjoining corners for heavily trafficked areas. Out of 16 boxes we did have 6 tiles that were of a thicker pile, so we did not use. Other than that, great tiles for the price. Highly recommend!!!!
