I bought this fan roughly a year ago and two of the sockets in the light kit no longer work, how can I order a replacement light kit? None of the Westinghouse replacements that are carried in my local THD stores are the correct size.

Answer:
The brass part close to the ceiling (the motor housing) does not spin during ceiling fan operation. It is a flush mount ceiling fan.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 43 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by easy to install, looks good, humming noise We bought this fan to replace the ceiling fan in our kitchen. We wanted a flush mount because our ceilings are only 8 feet high. We had bought another one but our handyman wasn't able to install it because the mounting hardware on the fan didn't match the "hole" in the ceiling so we had to take it back. This one installed very easily. It looks good. With the way the pull chains are set up, it looks like they will not stand up to hard yanks, so we are going to be careful. It does have a noticeable motor hum, even at the lowest speed. We bought one in white intended for our master bedroom but are now thinking about looking for a different one because of the noise. It doesn't bother us in the kitchen. March 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works wonderfully My wonderful cousin installed it for me and the only problems we encountered where 1.) The light bulbs. I made the mistake of not reading the box and seeing that it needs the candelabra bulbs. and 2.) The wires were not easy to understand. Not sure if it was human error or what but we had to re-wire it about 5 times before it was correct. We thought it was correct when the motor ran, but then the light wouldn't turn on. Apparently, even though the motor was hooked up, it was hooked up wrong. Once we corrected that, it was smooth sailing. October 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fan for the money The fan was easy to install and seems to be of good quality. I do hear a slight humming sound coming from the motor when I turn it on but it isn't horrible. We haven't used it that much so far since it is winter but are hoping to get much more use out of it come summer time. February 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Price is Good; Fan is not Bought this fan in January and it stopped working in August! While the look is nice and it's not noisy, I need a longer lasting product. The candelabra lights on this fan give off a lot of heat, I would have preferred incandescent bulbs, but it seems all the new fans are coming out with the new bulbs which I hate! it gives your home a "cafeteria" look. I do like the style, look and that it has the 3 speeds. Too bad it doesn't last. My previous one was a Hampton Bay (2 of which I still have in other rooms) and I have had them for over 7 years sometimes on for days at a time and they are still going strong. I'd recommend that brand instead. October 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I got one with a clicky motor I bought this fan because I needed a flush-mount 52" white fan, nothing fancy. It was fine...but then I turned it on, and the motor was clicky. I was like, "noooooo!!!" because this would be the second time I had put up a fan only to have to take it back down and box it up. Thought that maybe part of the remote wire or similar was interfering with something, but after removing the mount cover and the blades I determined the motor was indeed messed up. The fan looked good (not too much of a gap at the top unlike the Hunter Oakhurst) and really helped in the room, so I suppose I would recommend it; I'm guessing it was just a bit of bad luck... hence the 3-star rating. (And unfortunately this trend continued. The Home Depot probably has me flagged in their computer system for being the crazy lady who buys fans and then returns them a week later!) July 25, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Budget Fans I ordered 3 fans for my outdoor covered patio. They arrived promptly, but two of the tulip globes were broken. Installation was not difficult, although two wires kept pulling apart on one unit during hanging, and the unit had to be completely disassembled before it could be removed and the wires re-connected. At the end of the job, they look great, and operate well, at an excellent price. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase, tedious installation Although the installation was tedious as our wires inside the ceiling were not color coded. The finished look was beautiful. November 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good but disappointing performance First fan (special order) arrived damaged in box. Second fan (another special order) is not as quiet as other ceiling fans in my house. Too much motor noise, even when the fan is on its lowest setting. I returned the first fan for a refund, and with the Westinghouse Service representative's help, I also returned the second fan for a refund. September 8, 2015
