Purchased 2 of the 2 gal ultra classic transparent wood stain product for our deck, fell about a quart short to finish. It has the natural color of wood with a yellowish brown tinge. Easy to use and apply, but a brush is needed to even out some areas and puddles. Had a little problem with splatter at first with the edges close to the house during application with spray, better to use the brush on these areas. Product was easy to clean with water when done immediately. The spray is easy to use in areas without adjacent walls that you do not want to spray. It is just difficult to open the container when empty. Product dries quickly, a little slippery though when dry. So far, our deck looks great and repels water when it rains. Hoping it will last 5 years.

Easy to apply. Watch over spray as it is hard to remove. Only complaint is that it makes the wood slippery when a rug is laid on it.

Easy application on decks or solid fences. It's very easy to overspray and make a mess. We started spraying the deck before the "transparent natural" gave a yellow/ green color to our cedar deck. Once you start, there's no going back! In short, not the color we wanted. Having a 4 oz. sample would be great. We have had rain since the application and I love this product. Water beads and rolls off. I will use our last 2 gallons on pressure treated fence posts and rail.

Very interesting product! After using it, the wood felt as though it had a thin layer of plastic covering it. I like the look and feel of it! Less splinters too! A gallon covered 4 sides and end caps (one coat) of (4) 4x4x12, (9) 4x4x10, and (2) 4x4x8's. I now have a gallon left for other projects. Warning: there is coloring to this and it will stain whatever it's sprayed on. See pictures of my concrete floor - not good. After learning this, I moved the wood onto cardboard or treatment, and that worked great. IMHO you must brush the sealer over the wood after spraying it, in order to spread evenly and not leave "gunk" in runs and puddles! It does clean up with soap and water while it's wet, otherwise get something stronger to clean dried stain on your hands. I only had denatured alcohol handy, so used that. As for the quality, will have to see over some time... I'm hopeful though!
