First time I tried using it thought it would be simple turn it let it do its thing. But, after reading the instructions I was cutting away at tree limbs that was piled in the front by my groundskeeper. Very easy to use just as long as read the instructions first on how to operate the saw.

Got an email yesterday evening that my purchase came in went and picked it up pretty excited to use it the next day. Well, I am totally sold on this Jaw chainsaw. Very easy to set up, just add the oil, read the instructions on how to use, which extend handle, push button hold for 5 seconds, enclose the jaw around the branch you are going to cut, push the handle forward, branch is cut.

We have acreage in Oregon, and for years my wife has taken it upon herself to cut up the deadfall, and trim the trees, and shrubs with hand saws, and my reciprocating saw. She is terrified of the chain saw, and refuses to use it. So for her birthday I got her the Jawsaw. Not very romantic, but probably the most appreciated gift she ever received. The overgrown shrubs are now under control, and the woodshed is full. She loves how easy it is to use, and how efficiently it cuts. Best present ever!!

We purchased the JawSaw 3 or 4 months ago and are just now getting to try it out.
My husband is 66 years old and a 3 time cancer survivor. He lost a lot of his strength due to chemo treatments and was not able to work outside as he had in the past. He is so happy and excited that he can use the JAW SAW with ease and I even help out. I am 4'11" and 61 years old, we make a good team thanks to JAW SAW.

Must keep this item clean of debit, however, it is easy to fix. The features for use and safety are excellent. I had to clear trees that were ruined in Hurricane Sandy. I had twelve foot trees and numerous shrubs that I cut down and cleared with this chainsaw. This chainsaw was easy to handle and very effective. I would recommend purchasing for big and small projects. The angle of operation on projects are the only concern. A straight chainsaw would be a better piece of equipment for certain projects. However, this chainsaw was great for the person who has never handled a chainsaw and is fearful of using one.

II am a 63 year old man who has had plenty of electric chain saws and the problems of them but I went ahead and bought this one with some questions of overall worthiness well let me tell you it performed much better than I would have ever thought it cut through braches like they was butter and no chain loss like the other saws the speed must be the answer its not to fast its just right it cleans good after each use could be a bit lighter especially for the above cuts but I would like to see it with a pull handle incorporate with the saw Just pull the lever and saw and blade clamp down on the branch and cut other than that I would recommend to others this is a great saw

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by frog4all Cute but to heavy for 53 yr old lady
The Jawsaw looked so cute, small and easy to use in all the ads and reviews (without the pole extension) so I finally got one. It is much larger than I imagined and heavy. I am 53 but I bet someone of youth would love it. I had trouble lifting the box when it was delivered so I never took it out of box. I saw it and wished and then returned it. This is why I could not fill in all the review areas as I don't know.

I put this on my Christmas wish list along with a new WORX GT (old one was shot after 8 years) and the newer model of the Trivac. I got those at Christmas and on my birthday last week I the jawsaw showed up on my porch. Of course I had to try it out at first opportunity and found one on a tree that over hangs our screen room that needed it's yearly pruning. FANTASTIC is all I can say. I could reach branches I've needed to trim for years that I couldn't safely reach and the operation of the product was easy, safe and seamless. This product allows you to work safely from a ladder without the dangers of using a regular chainsaw from a perch like that. once back on the ground it was easy and safe to chop the branches into smaller pieces that could be handled for removal, or cut for the woodpile for the fire bowl.
