We have acreage in Oregon, and for years my wife has taken it upon herself to cut up the deadfall, and trim the trees, and shrubs with hand saws, and my reciprocating saw. She is terrified of the chain saw, and refuses to use it. So for her birthday I got her the Jawsaw. Not very romantic, but probably the most appreciated gift she ever received. The overgrown shrubs are now under control, and the woodshed is full. She loves how easy it is to use, and how efficiently it cuts. Best present ever!!

We purchased the JawSaw 3 or 4 months ago and are just now getting to try it out.
My husband is 66 years old and a 3 time cancer survivor. He lost a lot of his strength due to chemo treatments and was not able to work outside as he had in the past. He is so happy and excited that he can use the JAW SAW with ease and I even help out. I am 4'11" and 61 years old, we make a good team thanks to JAW SAW.

First time I tried using it thought it would be simple turn it let it do its thing. But, after reading the instructions I was cutting away at tree limbs that was piled in the front by my groundskeeper. Very easy to use just as long as read the instructions first on how to operate the saw.

Got an email yesterday evening that my purchase came in went and picked it up pretty excited to use it the next day. Well, I am totally sold on this Jaw chainsaw. Very easy to set up, just add the oil, read the instructions on how to use, which extend handle, push button hold for 5 seconds, enclose the jaw around the branch you are going to cut, push the handle forward, branch is cut.

This is the perfect tool for my suburban lot - which has a lot of unwanted seedling and sapling trees and brush. After I used it a few times I found I was actually enjoying the pruning work.
I am very leery of chain saws, but this one seems very safe and low maintenance
The only critique I have is that it is a little heavy, especially when reaching into trees. If they could take out a pound or two, it would really help in using the extension pole to get into high places.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EasyPeasy This is a great muti-purpose chain saw.....
I have used my JawSaw numerous times in my fire clearance efforts....from sawing off dead limbs to large dead bushes...then sawing the remnants down to kindling size material....
My loppers would not work on the thick stems, a hand tree saw would, but would take days to saw down what this JawSaw did in a few hours.....I raved about it so much that my friend bought one and is equally impressed....we both have the extension poles to get the high stuff...and they mate perfectly with the JawSaw...
I would unhesitatingly recommend to a friend....and did....!
Chain adjustments are easy and you need to keep your eye on the oil levels if you use it over a prolonged period...

I enjoy using this saw so much that I'm running out tree's I'm thanking about asking neighbors if they need anything trimmed. The chain pulls the branch in and cuts it quite quick for a little saw. I only have two issues with this saw. The first issue is it's a little heavier than I expected it to be, but no more than any small saw for this purpose. The second issue is I wish I could reach limbs that are higher up in the tree's. I still give the Jaw Saw the Excellent rating because it's the best saw I ever used for trimming tree's.

Must keep this item clean of debit, however, it is easy to fix. The features for use and safety are excellent. I had to clear trees that were ruined in Hurricane Sandy. I had twelve foot trees and numerous shrubs that I cut down and cleared with this chainsaw. This chainsaw was easy to handle and very effective. I would recommend purchasing for big and small projects. The angle of operation on projects are the only concern. A straight chainsaw would be a better piece of equipment for certain projects. However, this chainsaw was great for the person who has never handled a chainsaw and is fearful of using one.
