    Q:Can Behr Premium Plus Semi Gloss Enamel be used on ceilings? Is it easily washable? I?m washing ceiling and it?s cleaning so easily, very smooth. I found an old gallon of this in basement and think it might have been used on the ceiling I?m washing.

      A:  Hi Faye, thanks for the question. Our Premium Plus Interior Semi-Gloss Paint can be used on pressure-treated lumber. If the wood is a bleeding such as cedar, or has a lot of knots, I'd recommend priming it first with a Stain-Blocking Primer such as our Kitchen, Bath & Trim Primer to seal the wood and prevent the tannins in the wood from bleeding through to your topcoat.         A:  Hi Jack, thanks for the question. I wouldn't recommend painting directly over wallpaper with our Premium Plus Paint. The paint could reactivate the wallpaper adhesive, causing it to peel. It's best to prime over wallpaper first with an oil-based primer, then you could paint over it with the Premium Plus Paint. Have a great day! -Ronald

          Q:Is this paint safe for someone with a severe latex allergy? It says in the product description that it?s acrylic, but I notice that in Behr?s answers here, you keep saying the it?s ?acrylic latex? without explanation. Would you clarify, please?

          A:  Hi Anne, thank you for your question. The type of latex found in latex paints is not the same type of latex found in products that trigger latex allergies. Because of the difference between the two types of latex, our paint can be used without concern of an allergic reaction.               A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. I wouldn't recommend using our regular Premium Plus Paint for painting a bathroom floor. It isn't designed to be used in areas that are walked on.
