Q:My water tastes like plastic. I have run the water through many times to clear out the newness of the refrigerator like the directions state. I just bought a new Bosch water filter to see if that was the problem. The water still tastes like plastic. Help!

A: The issue was the new ice maker connector from HD to the water supply. It was a 10' line. I replaced it with a 5' Eastman connector from Lowes. The plastic taste went away.
