Answer This Question
A: These pliers are primarily designed to cut twisted pair and coax cable but should work on zip ties, depending on thickness. They utilize a bypass blade similar to the function of scissors as compared to an anvil style blade used in linesman and diagonal cutting pliers. Hope this provides assistance!

A: Not sure on #4 wire, however I've cut #6, #8, #10, with no problem. Probably would, but it would take a bit of effort. They are a tough pair of copper cutters though. What ever you don't cut steel wire. They'll be ruined. Believe me, that's experience talking after ruining a few pairs.

A: I would utilize something a little more heavy duty. This item is for twisted pair wire and coaxial cable.
Hope this helps.

A: These do not have screw cutters on them. The torque allows for perfect cable cutting though.

A: Nope strictly for copper wire only
by|May 5, 2023
A: No, this model does not have a screw cutter.

A: Never really looked close enough to check that out. Ill look tomorrow at work. But these don't have big long handles so the torque required to cut screws might be a little hard. Fit in the back pocket really well and do a great job cutter coaxial cable perfectly.
