A:  I have gotten mine at Home Depot in the tool section. If you don't see them, ask a sales person at Home Depot to see if they can order them in for you.

A:  I picked 220 grade up from homedepo in Kingston TN. If you need several different sanding grades I would order them on line from homedepo

A:  I believe the sanding pad you have is OMSID # 202830876. It looks like #301628974 is the same size with hook & lock backing but is a pack containing 80, 120 and 220 grit. Enter the OMSID number into the search bar on the home depot website to find.

A:  I bought this sand paper because it showed as a substitute for the Gator Mouse. It was too large, but worked ok. It's not my preference so I'll look for Gator to purchase again in the future.

A:  I have to different brands of this shape detail sander and I believe as long as it has the hook and lock feature it should work. I do not know your term(velco pad machine}. If it doesn't work on your current machine Home Depot is very good about returning items within 30 days for a refund or credit.

A:  Yes. This is my 2nd Mouse sander. I have used a friend’s bought my own, and given it to another friend to have and bought a new one for myself. Great for refinishing projects.

A:  Yes, this tool could be very helpful. As you get closer to the bare wood you may want to be careful, if it has a veneer on it, sanding to hard could ruin it. I would suggest maybe trying a chemical stripping.

A:  No. This item has exact-fit to my mouse sander. In order to get into the tight circles, you would need to fold in a line-straight across or straight down. Then get into the circle as best as possible. There are pointed sponge sandpaper for this at HD. Different sizes, different grits. If you continue to use mouse sander on this, you will flatten out the details. But, by staining the wood the details will probably result in a darker pigment . Which is not a bad thing. Sounds like a heck of a project. No doubt that it will be stunning.

A:  The point of the sander will get you into a lot of small spaces. But if you have small nooks and crannies to get paint out of, there is a hand tool made for just that. A sander can only do so much. The small tool should be available in the same dept where you would find the block sanders and sandpaper refills. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

A:  Hi Kathi, for hard to reach sanding such as sanding in a design, I’d recommend hand sanding with sandpaper or a sanding sponge. This sandpaper is excellent for sanding corners and flat areas.

A:  I used it for some of my designed stuff, but what also will help is the router set, little tools that shape the designs i have always wanted one of those, but i do not really need it now,

A:  In my opinion, no. With that much detail on your door, I’d recommend a chemical strip. Otherwise, you run the risk of removing wood unevenly using small or large mechanical sanders. Search the web for how to strip doors chemically and follow their suggestions.

A:  Lb, this is a good question and the answer is yes they will work on most any brand of sander that has the same attachment base design. A:  Hi LB, No these sheets will not work with the Ridgid Job max sanding attachment. You are looking for OMT sandpaper. To check it out, just search homedepot.com for Product #DCT334ASTH12G.

A:  I have a Ryobi and have ordered other brand sanding pads ant they work fine. I couldn't find any info on the size of the jobmax head so you'll have to measure to see if the size is the same. If it has hook and loop backing, it should work.
