Q:The instructions indicate that the slide release lever pulls up. However, both sides have the same orientation and so one side lever pulls down and the other pulls up. Doesn't work.

Q:I see the width is listed as 1/2 inch - does that mean:
1) both slides together are 1/2 inch, so each slide is 1/4 inch ?or
2) each slide is 1/2 inch, so both together are 1 inch ?

Answer This Question
A: 1/2? on both sides is the industry standard.

A: WidthMadness, thank you for your question. You will need 1/2 inch on each side. A total of 1" difference between the drawer and the opening. For ball bearing slides it needs to be accurate also, to avoid binding. ~Best, Liberty Hardware Customer Care Team

Q:I would like to make pull-out shelves for my standard depth 21" base cabinets. Could these 22" slides be used for that purpose?
by|Jul 18, 2022

Answer This Question
A: No. Go with the 20 in. slides. These fully extend so you should still be able to reach almost the back of the cabinet. If you go with a slide length (22 in.) that is longer than your cabinet depth (21 in.), the shelves will NOT close fully.

Q:My kitchen drawers are 19.5 inches deep. Do I go with the 18 or 20-inch sliders?

A: You could use either IF the cabinet space is at least 20" deep.
The 20" slides will allow the drawer to be pulled out 2" further
Good luck

A: Yes! Yes, you can!
The distance the drawer extends is based on the length of the slide and mounted position of the slide. If you only want the drawer to extend 10” then use a 10” slide! ;-)
What you don’t want is a slide that is longer than the drawer! That causes a couple issues that can be a slap-the-forehead moment!
by|Jul 9, 2022
A: you can but you won’t be able to pull out the full length of the drawer completely
by|Aug 22, 2023
A: You might have to modify the opening; install a shim under the drawer slide.
