I used these on a vanity I built with 2 drawers. They seem to be a perfect fit and work very well … just remember to make your drawer 1” smaller than the opening!

Hard to Pull…
These slides can be difficult to pull the drawer out… I built a small wooden dresser and you have to hold the top of the dresser when pulling out the top drawer so it doesn’t tip over. I like the soft close feature but I would trade these in for ones that I don’t have to worry about pulling so hard to get the drawer open…

Soft close does not work after few years.
I had to replace both the slides that I purchased few years back. Soft close stopped working and it started to slam.

      First drawer install went well
I spent a lot of time making sure the spacing for the cabinet members was perfect front to back, same height, and level before screwing them down. This made my drawer install perfect on the first try. No adjustments needed. The drawer glides smoothly.

        Well built, perfect size
I purchased these drawer slides so I could upgrade my lathe stand to have a 18"x24" drawer. I originally built everything expecting to use some old wheel drawer slides I had lying around but I realized that I needed something better. These have the soft close function which works well for me because the drawer stays closed even when my lathe is going. I also live the fact that they're full extension so I can access my chisels easily.

This was a pretty heavy duty application, which was a record album cabinet with 6 drawers, each one holding 50 to 60 LP’s. The slides were easy to install with the use of a simple jig I made to get the spacing right. Even the soft close works great!

The perfect replacement for the hard to open drawers I was in need of replacing the draw slides due to them being 20 years in service. You get a 2 page pictoral with instruction on replacement. Removal and replacement of the draw slides is simple to do with the provided screws and and electric drill and philip drill bit.. After completion, no more, "can you come open the drawer". Thank you Everbuilt

          Bought 3, 2 failed.
I used two of the 24" glides for a trash drawer. Worked absolutely great for about the first 2 months. Then the bearings fell out of the top of the left one and the drawer has to be forced shut. Thought it was a fluke, and didn't have my receipt, so I went and bought another one and replaced it. This time it lasted 3 weeks and the same issue happened again. I bought another that I have yet to install, but if this happens again, I will be finding another option. These are way too expensive to pretend they are disposable. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Not great when switching from bottom guide to side rail guide
I love the soft close drawers at my own house, so when we recently renovated a an older home with one set of drawers, we decided to add soft close side rails to make the old kitchen drawers feel new again. I don't know if it was because our contractor had to make so many adjustments to install these, but they are stiff, and only one of the three actually works as the soft close. I would not do this again unless I was swapping out from another existing side rail.

              Soft close mechanism
Good product and good value, but you need to be aware of the soft close mechanism. It uses a spring that is extended when you pull the drawer open. That spring pulls the drawer closed when it gets within about 2 inches of closed. Probably wouldn't notice the extra effort to open a single drawer, but I used them to form a pullout pantry with 4 drawers. The effort to open 4 drawers with a common front is more than my wife could manage. Need drawer slides with a different soft close mechanism for this application.

                Nice slides, cheap screws
I am just installing some of these so I can not speak to their longevity but I can say they should find a new manufacturer for their screws. The heads snap right off clean with very little screwdriver pressure leaving a broken screw that can not be easily removed. So far about 20% of them are breaking. Not sure how they got by quality control.

                  Not that reliable a slide
I now have had half a dozen of these slides installed for half a dozen years. In that time I've had to replace 3 slides, in 3 different locations. 1 silverware drawer, 1 trash bin and 1 junk drawer. None was over 50 lbs. The trash bin often gets close. The failure is always the same. It is of course in the cheap plastic piece. Specifically the damping cylinder. It is normally full of oil and slows the last 2" of drawer insertion, once the drawer has been captured and the spring is pulling the drawer in. Eventually the plastic damping cylinder will burst and pump all the oil out, all over the place. See attached photos. I use the 20" slides, but I'm sure all their soft close slides use the same damping cylinder. The first clue you have a problem is when the right or left side cylinder bursts and the drawer starts to close faster. Then when the other side cylinder bursts, the drawer will slam ship. It has taken from 1-6 years for the 3 of my 6 slides to fail, but just beware.

Be careful that the drawer size is exactly the 1 inch size smaller than the cabinet and that both are square. If it is off just over a 1/16 inch it will give you a fit trying to get it close smooth. The little red trigger lock can be manually set if you pull out the blue slider portion and move the red lock up or down to engage. If the pin on the slider that engages the red lock were a bit longer it may accommodate some poor craftsmanship of the components. When you get it right it works perfectly.

Like a few others on this site I have found the 20" slides work very well. The full extension makes the space at the rear of the drawer much more accessible. I purchased 8 sets for the kitchen. Over the last 2 to 3 months I have had to return 2 sets of slides for exchange to Home Depot. HD was very good about the exchange and after you have installed and lined everything up replacement was easy. The problem was that the drawers started slamming shut instead of soft closing. So I'm at a 25% replacement rate over this short time. Not real good. Hopefully that the end of it.

Significant improvement over standard drawer glides, sturdy and smooth. One out of sixteen soft close mechanisms did fail to operate properly, took it back to the store and exchanged it no problem. A little stiff when new but loosens up a bit with use. Pilot holes are very helpful when driving the screws. Make sure everything is square when you do the install or these won't work properly. Installed two weeks ago and work just fine.

Full extension, soft close, drawer slides seemed like a great idea. My old slides were probably older than me and I was physically hurting myself trying to force open/close the drawer. I researched various brands for highest ratings and these sorted to the top of the list. I wanted to buy local so that limited my options. 4.5 out of 5 rating? Who are these people? After a third trip to the store to get the face frame sockets that were required since I was mounting my sliders to the back wall of the cabinet. The second trip was to return and buy the correct length sliders. Measure your cabinet, not your drawer! Anyway, now I was obsessed with getting these installed. This was a challenging install. I highly suggest using the front bracket that comes with the socket to afix the slider to the front drawer opening and attach it using the cut-out tabs that run the length of the slider. Definitely screw through these in case your drawer is slightly smaller than the opening width to allow the attachment points to flex and bend toward the drawer. I could only utilized the front cut-out because I was mounting to the back wall. But even that small flex provided the proper adjustment for my narrow drawer. If you're mounting directly to the cabinet wall it's still a good idea to use these. So I attached the rail to the drawer, then attached the front end of the slider to the cabinet opening using the front bracket, with the socket put over the back end of the slider. Measure from the side wall to the slider to make sure it's parallel, and then with your third hand hold the level on the slider to position. With your fourth hand, mark the holes in the socket once the slider is in the proper location. I did two drawers, the first one does not close completely, and after much effort and tweaking I was able to get the soft close to work, and then not work, then work again, but something is out of whack. It opens all the way, and closes with only a mild amount of force for the final inch. (Discovered my drawer rail is rubbing the blue plastic spring mechanism in back, rough edge on the rail right where it tries to pass over the blue piece with the spring trigger.) So I moved on to install the second drawer sliders, against my better judgement. But after tweaking the first one so many times I kind of knew what I was doing, or should be doing and then hope for the best. I measured, I leveled, I marked, I drilled, I screwed. Repeated on the other side. Installed the drawer and with MUCH less force than drawer one I shoved it closed and the soft close grabbed it early on and slowly pulled the drawer completely closed. On the first try! I'm happy I had success but I'm so irritated that drawer one still isn't working right. So once my body recovers from the contortions it took to get into the cabinet umpteen times and my muscles stop hurting, I'll think about giving drawer #1 another try. In summary, I thought I was buying quality but it didn't feel as solid as I would have liked. For the love of money be careful with the blue plastic parts. It's plastic! Mine has a rough edge on the end of the rail that's rubbing and shaving off parts of the blue plastic each time the drawer is closed, that shows poor quality. I took a file to it which helped but I didn't have the right kind of file so that's probably causing some of the pinching/catching so it can't close completely or easily. I wouldn't recommend these sliders, the instructions were almost worthless. For the complicated install it would have been simple for them to provide detailed step by step instructions. No where does it show how to install on the back wall. And I didn't see any DIY video's online either. But, if you're installing the sliders to the side walls of your cabinet then it should be easy as long as both sides are parallel and level. If you're installing to the back wall find a non-ball bearing type. If your measuring is off on either side or other variables are at play then you run the risk of pinching the bearings so the slider doesn't move freely. In other words you'll end up having to force open/close the drawer and if you're like me you could have obtained that by just leaving the old sliders in place! For that reason I would recommend the old fashion sliders with a nice ball bearing wheel up front. Full extension is a really nice feature, even if the drawer doesn't close all the way by itself. At any rate, good luck with your project unless you've now decided those old drawers aren't that bad, and don't really need to be replaced.

These instructions were absolutely useless. Specifically, they assume you can attach the slide to the side of your cabinet (their only mode of installation). There are no alternative solutions/instructions if you have a door relief at the front (i.e., a setback from the door opening to the side of the cabinet). Also they provide instructions on calculating the height of the figure "X" without explaining (a) how to do so and (b) without accounting for different drawer opening heights. The image to the top of the slide does not identify it as such and finally there is no guidance on the delta between the top of the slide and the screw hole measurement - all critical information when attempting to align slides on different sides of the cabinet.

I installed these slides on an antique drawer. Even though the front of the slides are not covered by the face of the drawer, the slides do a wonderful job of sliding a very heavy drawer back and forth. The most difficult part of installation, is connecting the support to the back of the cabinet in the correct position.

The soft close drawer ball bearing slider set is the only way to go! Not only do they operate more smoothly, they handle more weight! Old, worn single roller sliders required both hands to pull out drawers with much resistance. Bought three 22" sets to replace old single roller slide sets in our pots, pans and trays drawers which are packed heavy. Now two fingers will pull them out smoothly! Was hesitant on doing the upgrade because I was not sure if they would fit in the same space. No problem. Just requires attaching mounting screws to different areas of the drawer and cabinet supports.

Decent product, but the failure rate is pretty poor. Replaced 15 drawers with these and within 18 months 3 failed - that's a 20% failure rate which I find pretty tough to accept. After taking apart the failed units it was easy to spot the culprit - the spring pulls the drawer back against an oil piston that's made of plastic and in every case the piston case cracked, leaked the oil, and viola, drawers slam shut. Fortunately, it's much easier to replace the units after the initial installation. Would've likely given it 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for the failures.
