A:  Yes, the electronic control has a high temperature alarm feature. An alarm will sound if the freezer temperature is high. A:  Our freezers have an approximately 5 amp draw. The freezer will typically draw extra current during start up (approximately 2x the running amp draw). We recommend having the freezer on a dedicated circuit for the best performance and to avoid overloading house wiring circuits. The exact amps an individual freezer will draw is listed on the rating plate, and you should reference that if you plan on running the freezer on a generator or other auxiliary power source.

A:  The freezer will run continuously for the first several hours for the freezer temperature to stabalize the temperature. The sound of the fan circulating air within the interior of the cabinet providing a consistent temperature throughout.
