          Answer This Question

A:  60 watts is max in any enclosed housing due to fire/heat build up. The light bulb lumen is the number to pay attention to as its the measurement of light. The higher the better. A 60w bulb can vary from 400 to 800 lumens.

          by|May 3, 2023

A:  The medium base socket is rated for 60W.

A:  This fan has a medium base socket, so you can use any type of bulb but 60W is the maximum for the socket.
