A:  No, I do not suggest using a flush mount on a vaulted ceiling. For air circulation the blades need to be parallel with the floor of a room.

A:  No. The motor bearings would not last long and would be impossible to balance.

A:  No, this is a flush mounted fan and has to be mounted horizontal

A:  No. Huggers mount directly to the ceiling. You'll need a swivel mount (common) with a hanger rod for your fan to hang plumb.

A:  This is a flush mount fan, you will need a fan that can be installed with a downrod.

A:  I don't think so, being that it's flush mount and has no down rod. Other fans that I've installed with a "down rod" can be at an angle. Those fans have a holder or a "cup" that hold the down rod, so it's free to adjust so that it's pointing down. The groove in the holder and the weight of the fan keep it in place. This fan doesn't have that. The upper bracket mounts to the electrical box and the lower bracket, which has the fan motor attached, mounts to the upper bracket, so whatever angle you have at the ceiling is the same angle that the fan is going to be at.

A:  Yes. I replaced a fan only that was wired to a wall switch with this fan and light. The instructions don't tell you which wires to connect to use it with a wall switch. After one false start, I reversed the red and black wires and it works perfectly. Sorry about the name, that was for a review of a different product and they won't let me change it.
