Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. Without knowing which switch you have, we can not answer with 100% accuracy. In general, if you have a commercial grade switch that is capable of handling the power load from the fan's, it should not be an issue. Please note that any switch used must be a variable speed switch, not a dimmer or rheostat switch.

Q:If using 2 fans and not using the wall switch, do you need 2 remotes?
by|Nov 28, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. If not using a switch, we would recommend using 2 remotes. Each fan would need a receiver installed and each remote and receiver pair should be set to a unique dip switch setting to ensure that each remote only controls the intended fan. It is possible to use one remote to control 2 fans if all of the dip switches are set the same, but that can lead to performance issues if the fans get out of sync.
