A:  These windows have a maintenance manual with them that tells you how to care for them, but, yes if got the right kind of paint you should be able to paint over them eventually. I would consult with our Customer Care division to make sure it would not effect any future warranty issues down the road. A:  White. Yes rest is pine. We painted wood black.

A:  Depends on the type of grilles you choose. If they are the grilles between the glass and you choose them to match the exterior color, the inside grilles will be the same color as the outside. If you choose the permanent interior grilles and you stain or paint the interior of the window, the grilles will match whatever color you have chosen for the interior. A:  The interior grills are white. I painted the wood on interior black to match outside and the white grills look fine. I have a black/white, and rustic wood interior also.

A:  Good morning. We offer DP ratings on our product. This is a rating with which we test our windows and doors for any water infiltration to our product under certain conditions. A:  really the company can't say if it is hurricane rated? In South Florida we are asking if a 2x4 can come through the window in a hurricane. I am guessing at this point that these are not impact windows.

A:  I appreciate the fast answers but I'm not getting my question answered properly and I wish to order this window. The outer dimension of this window is 24 x 48. The answer I was expecting was along the lines of being something like 22.5" X 46.5" Almost like the size of the screen? if that helps? Again I really appreciate your time. :)

A:  Good morning. First, thank you for clarifying the dimensions you were looking for. The inside dimensions for this casement window is a total of 2 1/4" total inside frame measurement.
