A:  I bought the ra 1171 and didn't need one. once you remove the base plate from your router, I rotated the router and it lined up with enough drilled holes to fit Use the base plate to find the right holes. I had to drill one more hole to adjust the router height from the bottom using the supplied wrench. My cabinet was inclosed and I had to notch the rear of the cabinet as one on the router handles hit the back of the cabinet but it works like a dream.

A:  Yes, the default collet is 1/2 inch and it includes an adapter collet for 1/4 bits.

A:  yes all you have to do is unlock the router adjustment clamp and use the supplied wrench to adjust it from the table top as there is a hole in the router base plate for bottom adjustment, then relock the router clamp
