A:  Delay application of Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 until after the 4th cutting of the new grass.

A:  Wait at least 4 weeks after application of Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 to seed.

A:  You must wait one week before or after applying Turf Builder Weed & Feed5 to apply any pre-emergent crabgrass preventer, such as Scotts WeedEX Prevent with Halts. If using a combination fertilizer and pre-emergent control product, like Turf Builder with Halts Crabgrass Preventer, you must wait 6-8 weeks, due to the fertilizer.

A:  Thank you for your interest in our products. This product controls broadleaf weeds, and will not control crabgrass.

A:  Turf Builder Weed & Feed5, like all fertilizer products, will damage and possible kill your lawn if over applied. Always use the settings and follow the directions on the label when applying.

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 can be applied to Zoysia grass. This product can be applied in early fall (September/October) when weeds are actively (temps between 60-90°F) growing in the lawn.

A:  Just like at the grocery store, they downsize the packaging to give you less but do not lower the price. However, in this case it seems that they downsized and RAISED the price. My yard size did not shrink from previous years.

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 bag size change has been to better fit the customers yard size and needs.

A:  Turf Builder Weed & Feed5 can be used in the summer, unless temperatures are expected to be above 90°F within several days before or after the application. With temperatures above 90°F do not use, as damage can occur to your lawn and the product will not control weeds (as the weeds are shutting down to conserve energy due to the heat).

A:  The NPK for Turf Builder Weed & Feed5 is 26-0-2. NPK stands for Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium (fertilizer). These are the 3 major nutrients that plants need to grow and can be deficient in the soil. The active ingredients (weed control) in the product are 2,4-D and Dicamba.
