A: Connectors to use - Universal F Compression Connector for RG6/6Q
Example - RG6/RG6 Quad Universal Coaxial Compression F-Connector (Pack of 50) (Ideal #92-650) OR Klein Model # VDV812-606 (10-pack, also available in 50 pack)
You'll also need the proper compression tool and stripper:

Q:Under Specifications, this cable is listed as for outdoors. But with the CM/CL2 (in-wall) classification, shouldn't this be listed as indoors as well? Please clarify. I noticed both the 100ft and 1000ft variants are listed as "indoors/outdoors".

Q:What the difference between quad and dual shield
by|Nov 20, 2019
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: A dual-shielded coax cable, for example, uses aluminum foil for the high-frequency shield and aluminum braid for the low-frequency shielding. Coax cables can also have additional shielding. A tri-shield cable has two foils and a braid, whereas a quad-shield cable employs two foils and two braids.
