Q:can I add 2 of these in one shower? and, will there be enough pressure in each unit?

      Answer This Question

A:  If your shower is very large, two of these units would be great if you are only planning to use the rainfall shower function. It sounds like you will be using the same supply lines for the water and that will reduce the water pressure drastically when used together, unless you have very high water pressure. Unfortunately with normal water pressure the jets would not work very well on both units at the same time.

A:  Hello, I am not sure about 2 units in one shower. Perhaps your plumber can give you better information. I suspect it would be much like having 2 shower heads in one shower but not sure. With one panel, you can have all the functions working at one time if you desire. The pressure will be less of course. I find that using the overhead shower and the body shower head works well. There is enough pressure. Remember, they are not 'power' jets but there is enough pressure to 'shower' your body while the overhead shower continues to pour water down. Hope this helps. Suzanne

A:  Unless you have really high water pressure you will not have enough water flow

A:  Hi Luciano, Yes, we do have many customers that have done this.

            by|Feb 1, 2019

A:  Sure, no reason that you can't add two. The water pressure depends on the pressure in your system, not in the unit. It is a really good shower head and we have low pressure. I'd buy again and recommend it for anyone.

              by|Feb 5, 2019

A:  Yes as long as you are on city water. I'm on a well and the pressure is a little low I usually have one on the body jets and one on the rain head.

                by|Feb 4, 2019

A:  I have 1/2” line to one unit and it is barely enough. I would not use 2 units unless you have individual supply lines. I think you will be disappointed.

A:  Yes, the tub spout does product a reasonable amount of water.

                                by|May 5, 2023

A:  It really doesn't. It puts out volume more like your sink faucet than any tub filler. I feel like it would take quite a while to fill any tub of any size.

A:  It was a fairly easy install. It works beautifully. We have enjoyed it a lot. The body spray isn’t quite as strong as we thought it would be but that is due to our water pressure and not the shower itself. I would buy it again.

A:  It was very easy for us to install. We were installing new tile and made the fittings exactly where they needed to be. If you are converting your old shower on/off knob and shower head in to this unit, then I would recommend a plumber.

A:  If you have a standard shower fixture now then you need to remove that and put in stub tubes to connect the hoses. You also need to mount the unit by drilling into the wall. If you can do this type of work no plumber required.

A:  We had a plumber and were not here during the installation so not sure how difficult it was. As an FYI we have 2 shower panels and they were installed at different heights based on the height of the shower ceiling not the people using the shower. I recommend being there during installation to make sure the height is correct for you. We like the panels very much and are OK with the heights but they could be even better if at a different heights. As another FYI, we have very hard water and I wipe the panel down after every use to prevent water marks, that seems to be working well. Hope this helps.

A:  I love it you will have to open the wall and lower your water pipes to come out of the wall below your current shower valve a plumber will have no problem doing it as long as he reads over the specs and install instructions that are included. Mine was used in New construction.

A:  Unfortunately this model can not be retro fitted into a previous set as this model has an independent valve and will only need to contact to your water source. Our VG08011 can be retrofitted into existing shower hardware.

Also pictures show different designs, some show only 3 handles to turn rain head, all the jets at once or faucet/hand wand, while other pictures show more like square divided sections on the panel with 2 handles per each jet- what design is this model, I cannot tell from mixed pictures?

A:  The water temp valve is the bottom valve. Temp of the water is imprinted around the knob. You set it once and don't have to move it again. The knob above the temp knob is for the tub spout/hand wand. Above that is the knob that turns on all six jets. The top knob is for the rain shower. Each knob just adjusts the water flow. The temp is set by the bottom knob. This photo is accurate.

A:  The bottom handle regulates the water temperature. Straight up is just about the correct temperature. Turning it to the right makes the water colder; to the left makes it hotter. The top handle turns on the water. The 2nd and 3rd handles from the top turn on the six water jets or the handheld wand. It is a fantastic product.
