Q:I have three locations of under cabinet lights. I would like to use one switch to control all three locations. The three locations would get a plug in device. Will the one switch be able to turn all three locations on at the same time?

A: The unit is only sold with one remote and one receiver so the three locations would all have to plug into the one receiver to guarantee they work off the one remote. Additional sets may operate on different channels/frequencies so it is best to confirm the frequency before purchasing to ensure the new receivers will be compatible with the remote.

A: The wall plate is installed into a standard wall switch anf the "remote" is simply plugged into an electrical outlet and the device you want to control is plugged into it.
