Great little fridge. Smart detailing and design, smoked front glass. Fan sounds like a PC fan, noticeable but like any other refrigerator. This replaced a Marvel that failed at 5x less cost !!

This fridge is a good value and smart looks. I installed it in a new basement remodel. I wish it could get colder. I set it to 35 degrees but it only cools to 38-39 degrees. For the price, it's going through be fine.

Absolutely disappointed this beverage cooler can't be set at a temperature it has a 5 degree variance so set it at 35 it has not gone below 38.... can't be built in or temp will go higher? Very very bad product unless you like warm fluctuating temps

This cooler is versatile because the you can change the racks to accommodate wine or other type of beverages, but it has major flaws; 1. If you put it in low temperatures (36-40 degrees), the fan and vents will get iced and will not defrost (see picture). You will need to take all your stuff out, possibly put it in your main fridge and turn this one off so it defrost over night. Then put your stuff back the next day and turn it on again. 2. Even if you used moderate temperatures (40-45 degrees), still you will have problems. The cooler will work fine say for a month or two, then the internal temperature will climb up little by little until the temperature is too warm that is almost the same at have your beverages at room temperature. You will again have to put your stuff in another fridge so they don't go bad and turn it off overnight. Then you have to put your stuff back again.

Very pleased with this cooler. It was on sale for $299 instead of $399 which is more than I would want to pay for for it. It is maintaining a 39 degree temp for cans and bottles and I have it outside by the pool. It's not subject to the sun or moisture and is working fine. It would have been even better if it had some kind of dividers or organizers for different varieties of beverages but overall, I am very happy with it. Purchased two weeks ago.

looks good. thats about it. Beer needs to be colder. built a custom bar to wrap this fridge perfectly and now regret this buy. cant find another with the same exact size to fit. guess im stuck with warm beer.

I tried to buy 2 of these units when they were on sale. Both had major damage to the doors but no damage to the box. I had to wait a few weeks for them to get more in stock and those too were put together badly. We opened them in the store. I then went to another store in town and all the units they had issues. Out of 8 units I was able to buy 1. I think for the other one I need I'll save up and buy a better brand.

My main reason for writing this post is that no reviews ever state the bottle capacity of this unit. I was hoping to use this for 3 rows of bottles but that is not possible due to the height of the bottles. While moving the shelves around you can see from the picture that its only possible to have two shelves with bottle height capability. The light and control panel only allows for 6 rows of cans 6 deep on the top shelf. The bottom 2 shelves fit 8 bottles across "comfortably". The middle shelf has full depth and fits 7 bottles deep allowing for 56 bottles on that shelf and then 5 bottles deep on the bottom shelf allowing for another 40 bottles. After waiting the 4 hours that was suggested by the manual to wait to plug in, I plugged it in and within four hours the fridge was down to 45 degrees after an additional few hours its down to 38 degrees, and I am assuming will be at the 35ish range by the end of the evening. My only complaint about this fridge is the misleading light on the front of the box. The light illuminates blue and is not very bright. The tinted glass without the light does not allow for much of a view of what is in the fridge. These things are not a deal breaker as I will eventually replace the lights with white lights. Its only been a day but I am happy with this product so far.

Our Monagram finally gave out after many years and we were desperate to find another beverage cooler as good. I had never heard of this brand but took a chance and so happy I did! It's a bit smaller however the storage for all size bottles is perfect! It keeps the temp set perfect and I haven't had any freezing. We are VERY happy with this cooler.

I bought this cooler for basement bar remodel and it has worked perfectly since I installed it, had a slight problem getting it level, but no big deal. The digital controls are easy to use. It keeps everything between 37-41 degrees, looks great and the price was right. The only thing that I would change is the LED light, it could be brighter but it still looks good. It keeps beer colder than my local bar does!

The fridge never drops below 44 degrees in the winter. In the summer it usually hovers around 47, 48. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Like the style & size of the beverage cooler. For a little bit more money, I decided on this unit. Now my downstairs guest kitchen is complete vs a complete remodeling project. Was kept informed via text when product arrived & staff at Avon were super in locating in their store. Even helped me load into my car!!

Unit is not cooling properly. Purchased a second unit . Notified it is no longer available. Trying to find replacement that will fit space. Why is this item no longer available?????

Works and Looks Great A little louder than I would like But fits my budget

The compressor gradually stopped working after about 1.5 years. The compressor has a 5 year warranty, but only on the part itself. Labor is close to $300 so it's basically worthless. The repair shop said it's better to buy a new one than replace the part at that expense.

Just like the vast majority of people mine broke less than 2 years old. Should have bought a better product. BUYER BEWARE! Just spend the money and get a better unit or an extended warranty if you get this unit.

I had this product for just over a year and now it doesn't get cold anymore. Check the Consumer Affairs customer complaints and reviews before purchasing this product because you are wasting your money.

During the one year warranty period it stopped working three times and we had to have it repaired. Shortly after the warranty period it died again and is not worth fixing. $400 and it worked some of the time for about a year.

Doesnt get my beer cold enough. been running for a month. Its cool but another 2-3 degrees colder would be better

We had one of these previously and the compressor went out. The cost to repair was greater than purchasing a new one. It lasted almost 10 years, so no complaints. It is a great unit, it presents the contents well and looks classy. We have the wine cooler next to it and they look great together.

Product will not maintain advertised minimum temperature of 35 degF. When set to this temperature it usually stays around 40 degF.

Great deal for the price maintains a temperature between 37 and 39° very attractive good size and at this point exceeding my expectations for the price .

Like other reviewers have stated, the product will not stay at the desired temperature. I set it for 35 degrees, but the fridge always hovers at 38 and 39. For the money I guess it's ok, but I wish it would stay colder.

Consumer Warning! If you're purchasing this unit, then buy the extended warranty!!! I should've paid more attention to the low reviews for this throw-away model. Like MANY others, the cooler I purchased (at The Home Depot) stopped cooling one month after the one-year warranty expired. All solutions, including a $100, 10-minute service call from Magic Chef's assigned local service provider, pointed to a failure in the sealed system, which was not economically repairable. End result - $400+ expended, and a like-new storage unit for warm soda, beer, and wine that is ultimately destined for the recycle center.

The unit looks good, but will not allow me to get the temp below 45 degrees.
