Yes this tool will work well in replacing the larger reciprocating saw for small jobs. A good addition to my tool inventory.

Love the way it fits in your hand for one hand operation! It will be perfect for trimming my elm tree branches !

The tool comes with 2 blades one for wood and one for metal. Works great right out of the box. More than enough power to get most jobs done. Makes clean straight cuts as long as you properly use the guide . Overall I would strongly recommend this product and would buy it again !

awesome tool to add to the collection already have used it for a couple of projects

A great tool to add to the kit and will get lots of use arount the yard pruning trees and cutting various things I am working on. After I got it I was really happy to finally have something to cut with. Great fit and balance in the hand, a little slow to cut anything chunky but you can see a lot of saw dust coming from the cutting blade so it is definitely doing its job. Just be patient and let the tool do its job on thicker branches etc. I realised after cutting tree branches I needed a pruner just as much as this saw so I splashed out and bought the Dewalt 20Volt Max Pruner to cut up the smaller branches I had trimmed off the trees. Both use the same batteries and the Pruner is brilliant as well. Will save the hands a lot of work. Love my tools !

Love it! Great compact well balanced saw

Right out the box the battery was dud so I called dewalt explain to them the took the battery out the package charged it it would not hold a charge so they had a warranty on it and they sent me another one and it charges now but you would think it work a least a year be for battery would die i had the voice in my head say charge it make sure it works glad i did or would be stuck with cost of the battery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned about having half the the blade travel as the full size saw saw (DCS367B) But Uber never had an issue cutting through anything or felt like it was taking too long. This easily balances in your hand with a battery and gets into hard to reach places and I don’t know what they did with the motor but you can’t even feel the blade moving when on full and not cutting anything if that makes sense. Super solid tool! Never had an issues cutting through thick or hard wood.

Got this to trim pine tree surface roots, absolutely perfect easiest I’ve ever got them up . Tool is tuff and light too
