This is not a small microwave at all. Fairly large to be honest but that being said, it warms food fantastically. The blue LED light is very easy on the eyes. Easy to set up as well, just make sure you have enough counter space for the microwave!

Based on most of the reviews from all around, I bought the Farberware 1.6 cu ft - 1100 watt microwave oven. It is a real eye catcher. Very nice coloring and the inside looks wonderful too. Sensor heating and it has exactly the right amount of preset options for cooking...even a memory setting. Very easy to use and it seems well built. Timer, clock, inside lighting and easy to use buttons will make microwaving a valuable asset to cooking meals. Large enough to place a 10" dinner plate inside. Rotating glass tray inside is nice too. So far all my food has come out exactly the way I want. Haven't noticed any cold areas when reheating. Hoping this microwave keeps up the great work because so many other brands...even the most popular aren't very reliable anymore. Farberware seems to have kept the quality whereas Panasonic and Sharp have cheapened out. If there is only one drawback to this microwave it is the lighted clock. You can land a plane using this lighted LED clock. Not so bad in daylight, but at night, wow. Get your sunglasses to cut the glare. It will definitely light up the kitchen counter. All and all, I recommend this microwave.

It’s a very nice microwave. I love the feature that allows you to bake a potato. It uses a sensor, and the potatoes come out perfect every time.

1100 power allows for reliable heating. Roomy, easy to use. Just set it up after purchasing it about a month ago. Very satisfactory.

Having a handle on the door instead of a push lever is great, it was one of the things I wanted on my microwave! Controls are simple and easy to use. I also like that the inside is a dark shade which is something I preferred and looked for when researching. I have only had it for about a month. You must plug directly into wall socket for it to work correctly. Only suggestion would be to put the cord at bottom of back of microwave instead of at the top in the back - it would make it easier to reach outlets that are closer to the floor - or make the cord a foot longer.

I just love this microwave! It looks great and works great. Couldn't beat the price!

It looks very nice. It heats things well, I like the Sensor Reheat feature. It is, unfortunately, much louder when operating than any microwave I've had in the past. Hoping the loudness is not a bad sign for longevity of this product.

This was not the fault of Home Depot but the shipping company that handled my microwave. I was connected with representative Alex Homer and the problem was taken care of and it was handled very professionally. Im extremely satisfied with the service I recieved and I was set up with a new microwave.

Works great but it is new. It is also quite large. if buying you may want to check your designated space. it's size and weight caused a minor temporary issue for me in placing it on baker's rack. love the look of it, and the power of it when in use.

This Farberware microwave is the right size for our countertop. Excellent power and the features we desire. Looks good (black and stainless steel).

Replacing a microwave from 1998 with this piece of junk was super disappointing - it didn’t last a year.

Writing this review after 15 months of daily use of this 1.6 cu. ft. 1100 watt Farberware microwave oven. This is a decent microwave. It is dependable and we have had no problems or issues. It evenly heats all food and liquids. Its pull-open door is much better than push button openers that tend to break. The only downside is the timer can not be used independently at the same time an item is being heated. Otherwise, definitely recommend.

Nice microwave with all the features I like only it was a little too big for the area I was going to use it in. I returned it and got a smaller one.

So loud when started and when ended cooking cycle that I had to return it. Never had a microwave make such awful sounds. After returning it I tried again reordering it and same issue and returned that one as well. Ordered a different brand.

The microwave heats food quickly and has ample room in the interior for large plates.

The microwave is a good size and looks great, but sometimes when it finishes heating and it starts to beep, I can hear the fan making loud noises. It's been doing it off and on since the day we bought it.

Does not work. Have to return to the store. Lights up but does not heat the food.

This was the noisiest microwae I have ever encountered. I returned it.

Some times when you turn it on it makes a very loud noise like grinding. Then at times it gets super hot and turns its self off. Going to return it.

I like the microwave and so far it's working well. The only thing I don't like is the continued beeping sound it makes when the time is up or the cooking is finished. I would have preferred just one beep.

Love this microwave. Its extremely quiet, easy to open & close, easy on the eyes (digital display) & doesn't take long to figure out how the functions work. Very satisfied!!
