The basket does not stay on track, does not dry all the way etc.. A part of the side wall dislodged and now we have to replace the floors in our house!!!! In addition to having to get a new dishwasher.

After 4+ months, I finally got my dishwasher connected properly. Securing all Black appliances was a huge challenge; but worth the wait.

I have not used it yet, it was nstalled yesterday.

We opted to purchase this Slate dishwasher to replace another unit that the previous owner installed. It matches the other slate GE appliances including the stove and microwave. We liked the features on the other GE unit and this one has some nice enhancements. The unit is quiet and reliable.

2022. I tried so hard to get the old style dishwasher I was used to. Simplified parts and install. Parts and repair videos an experienced owner can use to fix an appliance. Basic quality and made in Louisville near home for availability. It showed up fast and was delivered A OK. All was good. But it leaked on day one. This sort of leak would have slowly rotted the floor out. GE repair was the real thing from GE. The expert dedicated repairman had to replace the entire pump motor because you can't just buy a hose! It's attached. And GE parts only sells them this way. Obviously, this part is not from Ky, it's from outside the US. The hoses are often chewed by mice so a pricey home repair in that case. I learned from this to always install with a pan beneath. These pans are sold by GE and others. So now it works OK. Relatively quiet, Instruction videos are for older models with more clearance. The new deep tub design means you can't really reach under it to work. I like the plastic tub since I know it'll last longer than stainless steel. The labels are very difficult to read, bad font and color. Impossible to see the status using the edge of door display. Door is thin so don't close it with a knee. Everyone I know with this design has had multiple control board failures. It's sad I have so many GE appliances.

It is very helpful to have a third rack for long spoons, the wine glasses and also able to lower the rack’s. The wifi features is super helpful and accommodating the life style we have. Love our machine!

Dishwasher’s parts are breaking, door won’t close.

Like the third rack and the ability to spread the dishes and pans on the bottom rack without avoiding the center spout like was on the older model. The installation was not done correctly but the dishwasher is nice. It was push back to far under the counter that I had problems with touching the controls and a month later just tipped over.

This machine not only cleans well, but is very quiet. I’ve had Bosch, kitchen aid and whirlpool. This product is far superior in all ways than my previous dishwashers. I don’t know why I haven’t purchased GE before.

This is a decent dishwasher. The dishes come out clean every time. I failed to educate myself on the cycles and their times before purchasing. If you want it to actually dry your dishes, it's a 2hr 8 min cycle. Just sticking to the normal wash cycle, with no drying is 1hr 20 mins. That what I normally select so the washer is always dripping with water. But the dishes are spotless! Other than that, this color slate is really gorgeous. It's a nice change from the stainless and shows no finger prints. I have oak cabinets and it blends nicely.

Dishwasher cleans well, love the third rack, installers came in very polite, were in and out in approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Looks great in our kitchen we have all GE Slate appliances this was a replacement for another GE dishwasher motor blew out after 4.5 years hoping for better luck with this one.

It has been a great dish washer. Quiet and very affective at its job.

Love this dishwasher, however most of our water bottles are to tall for the top rack bottle cleaner.

Great product but the 1 hour cycle is not accurate, it takes around 2 hours, unfortunately there is not eco more.

We have been lifelong GE appliance owners and this dishwasher is the quietest one we’ve had. Love the 3rd top rack for things like spatulas, and it’s placement doesn’t take space away from the top rack where you put glasses and cups. There are so many wonderful options, such as a delayed start and washing just the top or bottom racks. Another thing worth noting is that we purchased this through GE and had such a positive experience with delivery & installation. GE’s customer service (Jill) was excellent to deal with. We truly felt like valued GE customers. Thank you, GE!

We are enjoying the new DW. We installed it for our new kitchen remod and it fits In perfectly.

It was a little tight to install, but it does fit. My previous controls were on the top as this one, but this is a touchscreen control, where as my older one had buttons. There seems to be a trick in activating ,I never know if I'm to touch over the words or where the indicator light is. Seems a little fragile but I'm sure I will adjust. I notice there is no vent on the front where the steam escaped from. I guess it's not needed. I love the 3rd rack (almost missed it). I like it.
