Excellent for organizing all garage and work bench areas

Just purchased another 6 of these beauty's. Been using these for my work for over two years and still are holding up extremely well. I'm in them and take them in and out of my P/UP almost every work day. Don't hesitate to purchase them!! Very well made.

These totes are the bomb. Sturdy and stacksble, love them!

This is sturdy, holds up very well to exposure to sun, but lost 1 star because they are not waterproof due to holes/slots in the lid... probably for locks or tie downs. Also contributing to the 1 star loss is the fact that these new totes are slightly different than the ones HomeDepot sold just 2 years ago, that look IDENTICAL, but, will not stack on one another due to the difference in design. Lowe's still sells the original version...

Best bin, best price and the best quality period. I have gone through countless storage bins and options in the last few years and I truly wish I had found these HDX bins sooner. It would have saved me an unbelievable amount of time money and trouble. This 27 gallon is probably the most versitile and is the best value for the money.

Freeing up the garage stuff is much easier with these tubs. We are cleaning up the other garage and using almost 20 of these tubs to sort everything out. They are very strong and stack easy.

Very durable. I use these for everything. They even hold up to winter weather. I use for pool supplies

Sow many storage totes out there this one is different because easy to close easy to open also when you put a nother tote on top locks in place does not go side to side

Well design.

I put this container to use, filling an unusual purpose, housing a pair of feral cats. I placed this one inside of a larger one, cut and framed an entry way, insulated it and placed a covered foam pad in it. See photos. The containers should remain weatherproof and give the cats a reliable shelter thru the winter.

Used this to move house from NYC... super durable and best thing is that it is stackable.

Works great I bought 40 for my shed keeps everything in good condition and saved space.

Was moving and needed to put everything in storage, made it easier to stack them 6 high with out breaking and making more room for bigger stuff. I used over 70 of them. Filled up a 10x20 storage unit with over 1/2 of it in totes

This plastic containers they are so great ezze to stack one on too to other one with out issues and also the way are makeking this box i can used to keep my clothes and tools secure and dried

It is serving my purpose as an organizer. It works better than any storage organizer bins I've had.

Great product and great price. Durable and they stack together nicely. They also stay put when stacked as they have interlocking lids. I have 4 of them in the back of my suburban and they hold various components for my work making it fast and easy to unload the vehicle when I'm home. When I add a trailer to pull I will purchase a couple more of these. 28 gal size.

Heavy duty body but the lid is poorly designed. There is actually a worse design flaw though-- a quarter inch hole is in all four corners of the bottom; which of course defeats the purpose most of us have for a storage tote. The very first one of these I purchased last year did not have those drain holes so I bought four more of these several months ago. All four of those new ones have holes in the corners. Due to the holes we have have been using them for other purposes than had been intended. They were on sale but if returning them did not require a long drive (I live in a rural location) I would have returned them.

Survived a fire, being doused with a fire house, and demolition!!! I purchased a whole bunch of these and the 17 gal. size about 8 months ago. I really just wanted to get similar size/nesting containers so I could have more room in the garage for my "wood shop". They do close really well and nest sturdily...but that isn't worth 5 Stars. On 2/4/2018, 1st quarter of the Super Bowl, we had an electrical fire in the garage that burned very hot (melted light bulbs). The entire garage was declared a loss...fire, smoke, water, debris...all kinds of damage. Long story short (too late), when we were finally allowed in to inventory our possessions, much to our joy and reprieve we found that ALL of our bins remained sealed tightly. I am talking ZERO water or smoke damage. We just purchased 20 more bins in total to move our belongings from the dirty bins into new ones. Folks, I cannot explain to you the amount of joy it brought to us in a time of dark to NOT have to inventory a lifetime of photo albums, Christmas decorations, baby clothes, etc. I will also be copying this review into the 17 gal. size to ensure this is seen. The only thing I did "different" is that I ensured they were not overfilled and I also ensured the lids were not warped when I bought them. It is easy to spot the warped lids. Attached is a photo of a pile of fire damage...the bins are essentially just dirty!! Amazing!!

These storage containers have made my life and garage so much better. Talk about being a little OCD when it comes to keeping my garage organized and clean, these containers are perfect for me and my family’s needs. Not only are they stackable which help keeps the garage clean and organized, but they are very lightweight and durable at the same time. The plastic is so strong I have confidence they’re going to last years. I recently moved from an apartment to a home and these containers were definitely a staple in helping move items for us and worked a lot better then the cardboard boxes. When packed in the trailer, they stacked well and didn’t move around at all. One of the features I really like is that the lid snaps on. This gives me peace of mine that I can move the storage bins without them opening and the contents spilling out. Also, the lid does not cave in so you can protect more delicate items in each bin. Another thing I like is that they are stackable, meaning they fit perfectly into each other once stacked so it is sturdy and neat. Because they are black, the only way to know what is in them (besides opening each one up) is to label them. This doesn’t bother me since I don’t like clear containers that show everything inside. Plus, any excuse to use a label maker is fun! The price on these containers are just right. I mean $11 for a bin that is going to last years? Well worth the money. My garage stays clean and organized and I am one happy girl! The ones I have are the 27 gallon ones, but they make different sizes as well that I intend to use in the future.

This tote was the perfect size for my needs and the price was great

**NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR AIR TRAVEL** I flew with 6 of these totes and all of them were destroyed. Yes, this is partially the airline's fault, but I bought 10 of these totes initially and realized 4 of them were broken (the tubs were significantly cracked) when I got home. It made me a little nervous, but I figured maybe someone just dropped the pallet. I should have taken it as a sign that they were too fragile for air travel and should have returned them and purchased something entirely different. Now, I have to deal with a baggage claim and trying to figure out what all is missing, since our belongings were scattered about in the belly of the plane. :(

I bought a bunch of these boxes to store all my camping gear in my garage and get organized. I loved them they stack easily and travel well. They have a clip on lid that stays on. I liked them so much that I bought 4 more for giant Jenga games made from 2 x 4s. They are solid and very useful....

I bought 2 of these totes to make toy boxes for my 7 year old grandson. These are rugged and look cool with the textured top. I painted John Deere tractors on the sides & front with puffy material paint for my grandson to use in his room to keep his John Deere tractors & his trucks in. He loves them! I would recommend these heavy duty totes for a variety of uses.

I love both the HDX 27 gallon and 17 gallon storage totes in the now familiar colors of black and yellow. They stack wonderfully. My garage and storage unit are now looking sharp! During a move they are the way to go, rather than cardboard boxes, as they are more durable, stack well, and slide easily. I also like the fact that the totes have slots in the top lid, positioned in the corners and middles. I secure the storage totes with Softbinder straps. I've been using these totes for several months and they definitely meet my expectations for quality and usability.
