You would think if you pay $100 for something they would use wood without knots and holes. We didnt have time to wait for another to be delivered as door is already installed. Cant have anymore nights of rain without this.

The product was as advertised and the communication with the phone support was excellent. i would highly recommend the product and would purchase from Home Depot on line again if need be.

The wood portion needs to be sanded and sealed before using. The adjustable wood strip was poorly made. The clearance for the four screw heads, used to adjust the wood strip, were too small. The holes had to be enlarged to enable the screw heads to sit flush with the top of the wood strip. The adjustable wood strip is would not spring up when the four screws were loosened. I used 3/8” backer rod underneath the strip to act as a spring to tension the strip. Water can still get into the wood base and strip which is not acceptable. The wood pieces should be replaced with a suitable plastic that would be dimensionally stable for outdoor use.

The threshold fit the door opening without any cutting nor any adjustment as to the door height. A breeze to install and looks great. Did install a sweep to the door.

The wood they used was poor quality. It had knots and holes in it. I posted a bad review with pictures on Home depot website.

Product is fine. Priced way too high. Half the cost of a new door.

Used to replace the threshold and door frame of an existing double metal door setup in my basement. Nice product, ordered to exact size so no cutting needed. The oak riser portion was damaged from the staples used to attach. Had to remove the staples, glue and retack with a fine trim nailer. Good as new. Was not pleased with the screw setup for the adjustible riser. The washer provided should holdthold riser tight in order to make adjustment by turning the screw. Instead, the washer just falls down over the threads and the screw ismis unable to make adjustments.

This piece fit exactly to the door I was working on. The install went great. It is excellent quality .

The wood strip that was stapled to the interior side of the unit was cracked and falling off. I had to nail it on myself. The vertical adjustment doesn't work even when you follow the directions regarding the included washers. The screws just screw right out of the holes instead of raising the adjustable oak threshold strip. It is the right length and the metal part is solid, the rest is poorly designed and shoddily constructed.
