Love Milwaukee products. Easy to use, good settings for speed. Worked quickly. Easy to change belts.

I bought this battery with the chainsaw and it worked for 10 or so cycles. Then began its decline. First, it would only charge to 3 bars. Then it would not charge at all. Milwaukee E service repair is unavailable for these batteries. Like many other reviews, I'm disappointed with this Milwaukee battery. If Milwaukee is going to make tools that require batteries of this size, then they need to last and be able to return through the E service program. Don't buy tools that take big batteries.

Great sander that removes material quickly. Need to use a larger capacity battery to ensure you have enough power to last longer.

What can I say... it's a 12AH Battery. Once charged, it's a beast. I use it on my chain saw, and my table saw.

This thing eats batteries!

Milwaukee needs to figure this out. About every 3rd battery we buy has an issue. They start off good but soon into using them the have an issue. The battery will die and show one light bar, but then it shows 3 bars after putting it on the charger. The only thing you can do is fully discharge it with a fan. If you put it back on a saw it will make a half a cut and die again, but put it on the fan it will run for 2 hrs and then you can fully recharge it.

I use this battery with my Milwaukee 16 inch chainsaw and it lasted longer than any other battery before.

I bought my Milwaukee 12ah battery in 2018 (it’s now Nov 2023, almost 2024!) and this battery has been kicking rear ends and taking names for the past 5 years with no issues whatsoever. I must have at least 10 Milwaukee m18 batteries (ranging from the 3ah to the 12ah) and have never had an issue with a single one of them. These things take a beating and keep on keeping on. It’s actually hard for me to believe these negative reviews. I know things can happen and there can be lemons that make it out into the stores, but I certainly haven’t gotten one. It makes me wonder if some of the negative reviewers don’t charge them properly, leave them outside in the rain, I dunno. But I will continue buying Milwaukee products because they’re extremely well made and last forever (on a side note, I once tried one of the “generic” m18 batteries, it was a 5ah powered one, and it was a complete joke compared to the Milwaukee 5ah. The power was weaker and lasted about half as long as the Milwaukee. So if you’re thinking about going that route, don’t. Save your money. The Milwaukee may be more expensive, but it’s a lot more powerful, better made quality-wise, and will last you for years)

Battery price is where Milwaukee makes its money. The tools should be free.
