Super easy to use & a great price for the expertise testing.

The dish portion to me is very confusing so I just use the swab. I like how more detailed the test is.. It would be nice if it measured how many spores per Sq ft with like a little diagram of what's possibly normal compared to not normal. But other than that, easy to use and send off and customer service can walk you through everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, The do it at home, Mold Armor really lets you test your air quality, I got more then one to cover more area. In one area I removed visible mold and put it in the Petri dish and sent it in to be tested more thoroughly. One in a area I suspect there is mold I did the at home test witch is very easy, just follow the easy to do directions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do it yourself Mold Test Kit was easy and quick. Easy and simple instructions. Kit contained everything that was needed to complete the test. Included a shipping envelope for expert testing. I felt safe using the test kit and I trust the results.

The product appears to do what is advertised. The challenge occurred when I sent the petri dish to the lab for testing to determine what specific typ of mold we have in the apartment. That was approximately two weeks ago and I still haven't received any response from the lab. This is troublesome because they advertise that once I paid the $40 per petri dish I could expect a response within two to three days after they receive it. Like I said its been over 14 days since I mailed it 9ut. The post office said it takes three to five days for our mail to go from one location to another.

Showed mold growth but could have just been dirt specks i photographed already existing in dish when i opened box. Additional $40 for lab testing. Sent mine in two weeks ago and still waiting for results.

Provides a straight forward way to have suspected substance(s) professionally analyzed. I understand the importance of comparing ambient exterior levels to interior levels so perhaps including 2 collection devices in 1 kit or reducing the lab fee by the cost of 1 kit if both are sent to lab for analysis would provide incentive for more kits being tested.

I have suspected mold in my bathroom. I’ve been sick in and off for months. A friend of mine mentioned it could be mold from a previous leak causing my illnesses. This took 3-4 days to show significant results. But it clearly shows the growth of black mold. I since put a test in another part of my home. It has also begun to show the signs of black mold spores in the air. I have a mold expert coming to the house tomorrow to assess the issue deeper. I was able to show this test to my landlord to expedite the urgency for further inspection. I recommend this product!!

Easy to use and is a good way to determine if you are having a mold problem

Very easy to use and worked within 48 hours. I sent the mold test in and waiting for the mold results to come back.

I never write reviews, but this company is truly horrible! I bought this kit and paid the $40 for the mold analysis. When the analysis came back, it was totally bogus. The dish I sent in had a lot of mold growing in it and the report they sent me back said “Sterile fungi do not have fruiting structures and therefore cannot be identified.” When I called to complain about how unhappy I was with this report, the lady didn’t seem to care about my complaint at all, she was pretty rude over the phone and would not give me a refund. Save your money, this company is a scam!

This kit save my life very good home tester I gave it a 10 .I recommend it if you suspected that you have mold and the instructed is easy to follow

If not doing an actual mold sample/spot test then there is a lot of waiting involved for checking the air for mold. And there is only 1 chance to test per kit. Still cheaper than trying to call in a specialist

I purchased this to check for a potential mold issue. It was easy to use and provides 3 different ways to Methods for testing for mold. With each method you must first prepare the kit (put the solution in the little dish and then let it sit for an hour). After that step is completed, you are ready to test for the mold. I did the Indoor Air Quality Method and it detected mold after roughly 72 hours. I will be sending the sample off to be tested.

they got rid of the mold and stains. Best of all it’s safe to use around kids, pets, and most importantly, pregnant women. I went out and bought the jumbo bottle to refill my spray bottle!

I purchased this product when I discovered extensive mold in my home. Did the test and paid extra to have the mold sample analyzed. I called the company repeatedly for the mold test results which were to be returned by email after the sample was cultured and analyzed. I never received the results. Reached out to my credit card company and had the charges reversed. This company does not deliver the additional test results, a total scam. Save your money folks!
