i didnt think they were going to be this big but im happy with the size. Perfect for my hydrangeas to grow big.

Quality and price are good. I am a senior citizen and it is very difficult to get find someone to put holes in the bottom for drainage. Please either punch the holes out be shipping or put some kind of plug that is easy to remove so customers can adjust the amount of drainage they want. I have had it for a week. Thank you.

Very nice addition to my summer porch. Holes easy to drill, & it's light enough to move when filled. Perfect for the tomato plants.

It's resin so it can easily crack. You must handle it will care. I spray painted one (sloppily) so it would be a little more cheerful. I got the 22 1/2 which is a good size. I have a 26" which is almost unmanageable but a better planter as it contains more rubbery elastic type of material less prone to cracking. This Southern Patio brand has a good price at twenty dollars though.

The pots went great in my moms flower garden! I was afraid the wood barrels would attract termites and would be to heavy for myself and my mom to move. These are perfect for what we were trying to create!

Our old wooden whiskey Barrel was falling apart was needed to replace it. We decide to go with Plastic Resin Whiskey Barrel. It is about 2 1/2 smaller diameter round than the real one. The base is 15" round and 15" tall. It doesn't have an drainage hole so I had to dill one out. It looks real and it should last longer than the wooden Whiskey Barrel.

I used this for a waterfall project which needed a barrel that can hold water. It works well and looks good.

OMG, this planter is just what I was looking for... my daughter got a Lilly plant from her aunts funeral and I could tell that the roots were out growing the pot that it was in because the plant was slowly dying and on top of that the pups were eating the plant as well. I'm glad I found something for her to keep her aunt plant alive at a reasonable price, she loves it and if she's happy... then I'm happy. Thank you, Home Depot!

create a Wine Bottle/Barrel Fountain with your 22" Rustic Oak Barrel,(see attached) was a hit on Facebook last week. Home Depot has the BEST prices on the barrel, pea gravel, pond pump for this project..(that is not wine coming out of the bottle, that is the cooper pipe with red color :) )

I love the resin Whiskey Barrel! I wanted to store my 100 foot garden hose in a wider radius so it's easier to stretch out when I need it. I couldn't find any product specifically for garden hose storage that would work for me - either the radius was too tight, it was too expensive for my budget, or it was subject to rusting. Then I found this item at Home Depot. Per the features of a "hose pot", I drilled a 1 1/2" hole in the side of the barrel towards the bottom for a leader to the spigot, and numerous smaller holes in the bottom for draining. It now has the features I wanted and it's a bit stylish as well.

These barrels are light enough to lift (when empty) even though I have back problems. They are affordable and look like real wood until you get right up to them. I haven't gotten any flowers in them yet, but I know I'm going to love my "new gardens" next spring. I can't do ground gardening anymore, and I don't like "raised gardens" because they're still too low, so these barrels are to be my new gardens. I placed them in my front garden, new back patio area, and in empty niches around the house and yard. My husband drilled three 1" holes in the bottom of each barrel for drainage. Now I have to go out and find me some plants and bulbs. I can even experiment more easily now because I'll be digging in potting soil mix rather than the clay ground. Now I can sit and garden - I'm more excited about gardening than I've been in years!! Thank you Home Depot for offering such a wonderful and affordable product!

Recently purchased large whiskey barrel outdoor planter; has a convenient drain hole in the bottom and was able to plant 3 8-pack flowers, looks very nice in my landscaping. Have a smaller version of whiskey barrel outdoor planter for several years, has held up very well and still looks new. Very happy with my purchase.

Price was too high. They’re on sale at Rural King for $10.

This barrel is great quality for the price. It is a nice spice to grow dwarf fruit trees in. I recommend this barrel if you are on a budget.

Good size. Quality is okay.

Product was as advertised. Don't know how it will stand up to the weather.
