Since the last time I shopped at this location it seems to have improved, The store was very clean and organized and well stocked compared to my last visit a year or so ago and I was helped and greeted by very kind employees. I was buying plywood and Tia at the checkout helped me by wrapping it up and making a handle so I could easily carry it when I left the store, as well as nice conversation!

I recentley moved, so I have been to the store three times. I have had the same cashier twice. Her name is Randi.. she is very pleasant and helpful.

This store had helpful, nice staff in the past. Now Home Depot hires younger people whom congregate to chat & socialize, not doing work. And they’re annoyed when a customer interrupts them for assistance. The staff on UES is better.

Everytime I shop at this store I am so impressed by how wonderful and helpful the staff members are at this location.

Every time I visit Home Depot on 23rd Street, every person I ask for directions, or need help finding a product, or require more information to choose the best product...they have been friendly, informed and patient. Unlike other stores, I don't feel like I'm bothering them. I actually feel like they WANT to help me. Just lovely.

Officer is given $14,619,789 plus 5 others executives are given multi million dollar incomes. Recently those making less than $50,000/yr are issued the difference between their income and $50,000. Corporations, bleed workers, in order keep their profits and salary. THE GOV'T SHOULD PENALIZE CORPORATIONS!!!

In the past this store had less employees and some not too knowledgeable in hardware. What a nice surprise this visit to see many more staff who were knowledgeable about where items are located but also had helpful expertise

If you want a great customer service experience, find Ken (he was in the garden dept when I was there). He is amazing, so kind and helpful and just made this trip amazing.

Tawreet and Maureesha at batteries were INCREDIBLY helpful! I had a device that was 19 years old that needed batteries to work. It was a recording of my then 6-month-old baby girl. The batteries indicated on the device no longer existed, but Tawreet and Maureesha worked diligently to find a work around... and did! I'll definitely return for customer service like that!

I can confirm that 3000K light is more pleasant than 5000K light after purchasing both from the same maker. 5000K light is cooler in hue (more "blue light") than direct sunlight around noon on a sunny day. And blue light from LEDs has been linked in scientific studies to a reduction in melatonin production, resulting in an increase in insomnia. Also, the new ecosmart LED bulbs I purchased have are glass instead of the annoying smelling plastic of previous bulbs.

It seems like this store on 23rd St gets better all the time. They carry most everything that I look for, and the staff is always helpful.

Poor checkout service. I showed a military ID (VA Hospital) and was unable to receive the discount unless it was loaded onto a cellphone which I did not have. Suggestion: instruct all cashiers with the procedure to provide the military discount.

Staff knows alot on every item and is willing to go above and beyond !! Edgar in tools is AWESOME !!

Great store, well-designed and rarely feels crowded. There is always helpful, knowledgeable staff around and they also all seem happy to work there which suggests the company takes good care of employees, so that is also a good incentive to shop here. The plant section is lush and the staff will provide a lot of education and seem to know what they are talking about. Counter staff is really warm and checking out is a breeze. Bring your own bags, they don't have many options for sale and have done away with plastic, finally

My last Home Depot experience at another location was so upsetting that I was never going to shop Home Depot again. I went to this location for a final exchange but Preston at returns was so helpful and nice that he saved my business. I will just stick to this location!

The employees are great and super helpful! Jim in hardware is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, thorough and respectful.

Jermaine, the manager of the plant department, was amazing. He was a book of knowledge on all areas of the store not just the gardening section. He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to show me where everything was located and answered my many questions. I am a NYC local and find that customer service is lacking pretty much everywhere. In NYC generally you are never greeted, treated like you are bothering employees , the employees are usually on their phones and just downright rude. It is really a problem in NYC. This is NOT the case at Home Depot. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE was GREAT. Thank you Jermaine and shout outs to Albert, Ricardo And Randi.

Purchased a gas stove from this location. Sales rep was patient, kind, thorough & knowledgeable. It was truly a pleasure to shop. This location has friendly & helpful staff in every department.

Tina wrapped up my boxes and was very personable. Home Depot needs more like her!
