This is the first major issue I’ve had w this store and it’s not the employees fault it’s the corporate issues. The return policy is the reason. It use to be if I did debt I could get a cash refund now it has to go back to the card that takes a week or so for it to be available. If I need it right then to buy something I can’t. So it’s going to put a damper on me shopping there. This just screams to me that Home Depot is hurting for money. I’ll wind up shopping at TSC and other lumber stores. I am highly upset and what I was going to buy this morning I just left and went else where. Im a small company so I don’t think that HD will care if I go elsewhere but I’m still putting this out there.

Matthew Burbella was awesome in helping me with my needs. Very knowledgeable about all the products. And very skilled at putting demos together so you can see what your project would look like.

I give this review for Fran that works in Plumbing, she does a great job and she is always willing to help you. Thank Fran.

I had to purchase a refrigerator. The associate that was in appliances was excellent. Elaine is truly a very spot on person. She helps with everything. We really appreciate her expertise. This made our experience very good.

I would definitely recommend this store but the Delivery service that they have for the appliances is a horrible delivery service the guy that delivered our dishwasher was very rude and one came in the house without wearing a mask. Our flooring needed notching out a little and they would not give my husband two minutes to do that so they said that they could not install the dishwasher did not take my old dishwasher away that I had already paid for them to do. They left my new dishwasher sitting on my back porch and left.

Specially because of employees like Michael at the Dept. #28. He truly makes the client’s experience successful and pleasant! Thank you very much!

I spent the last two days trying to get paint matched at a competitor's store. Still did not get a good match. Home Depot employees in the paint department had my colors matched and paint ready in 15 minutes. I would have saved a lot of time if I had gone to HD in the first place.

The store was neat and clean. I dropped my wood, Donna the cashier came over she helped me she took a bag and tied my wood together she was very helpful and sweet. She has excellent customer service skills.

They have greatly improved their hiring of professionals that know what they are doing. Strongly recommend

I like that they allow shoppers to bring in their dogs with them. Saw some cute ones today!

Joe helped me find the most affordable way to complete my project as well as all the materials I would need. He was kind and helpful and even asked another employee who was slightly more knowledgeable in one area to be sure he had everything correct for me. Thank you Joe. It is always a pleasure to shop at Home Depot in Acworth, GA. The employees are helpful and have good ideas for projects. I have spent a great deal of time in my backyard during COVID19. Home Depot had great deals on shrubs, trees, mulch and plants and I have used this time to create a whole new outdoor environment. Thank you for your plants suggestions and help to make it all happen,

My shopping experiences have been good at my local Home Depot. Store associates are helpful and friendly and products are usually in stock.

Customer service employee don’t know the return policies. No where does it state that purchases made with a credit card must be refunded the original payment if you have a valid receipt. It does state that any purchases made with a Home Depot store credit OR gift card credit card must be refunded via store credit. Returns without valid receipt is refunded via original payment but I had a valid receipt and the certain employee kept saying, “only credit card debits can be refunded in cash” and kept saying debit is same as cash which is true but a credit card can also be used to withdraw cash... I guarantee that if you made a Home Depot purchase with a Home Depot credit card and made a return, they would gladly refund you via cash, why? Because they rather have the charges stay on the Home Depot credit card so it can collect interest daily. That’s why but apparently this employee named Elizabeth at the acworth location don’t know the return policies and why Home Depot has such policy. It’s smart on their end, a lot of people don’t see it that way. Of course Home Depot would gladly refund your returns via cash if made with a Home Depot credit card and with a valid receipt because at end of the day, they rack in that extra % that’s collecting on your Home Depot credit card balance.

Overall, I Iike this store-until I need mulch or pine straw. I always have to wait for someone to come load the car. My last visit I waited a half hour ,even going back to the cashier for her to call them again,and still no one showed. I finally went to cust service and got my money back. As I was leaving, the other customer who was waiting with me walked in. 10 min after I gave up,and he said he was still waiting for help.

This store is very convenient to me and I've always had a good experience here. Most recently, I made a major purchase (zero turn lawn mower) and my sales rep, Matt, was excellent!

Everyone here is very nice and eager to assist DIY-ers with questions and needs. I shop here almost weekly and like to get inn and out quickly, which is never a problem - even use the easy-to-use scanners and self service checkout lanes for faster service. A great store!
