Very clean store employees are very polite and helpful

The store was very clean. Was approached by associate but did not need help. Cashier was very helpful and friendly.

Great store shop there a lot good service

I have rebuilt two kitchens and now working on an entire home. The designers are wonderful help and are very knowledgeable. They also have good relationships with other departments in the store and can help with anything from the basic needs like electrical and lumber. The designer listened to what I wanted and then made some suggestions that tweaked them even better. Great store! They gave me the respect I wanted.

This store is always well stocked and clean. The employees are always extra friendly and eager to help without being pushy or intrusive. Special shout out to Ed at the contractors desk who not only told us where we could find what we were looking for, but walked all the way across the store himself to get it for us and bring it back to us!

Dawn ( member of management) was helpful and understanding! She was able to credit me the difference of the price of a washing machine and print out the warranty and owners manual and mail it to me. My husband and I bought a floor model! Excellent customer service!

Always finding prices less than competitors

I can not say enough good things about our experience with their Kitchen Design Consultant. She was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. She spent 2-3 hours with us going over our layout and showing us possibilities we hadn't thought of. We were very happy with the design. We wanted to compare pricing with the Big Blue Box across the road. After being in their department 40 minutes and the gentleman acting like he couldn't be bothered with us we left. Because of the great customer service at Home Depot they got our business and will continue to be our "go to home improvement store".

Clean store, well-stocked, plenty of friendly, helpful employees, who were more than willing to help us find everything we needed. Definitely a great place to go for home improvement /remodeling needs!

I have always had a GREAT experience at this store. Employees are and have been very helpful. I am ex-military and the cashiers have always given me my Veteran's discount some times without me even asking when I have Veteran apparel on. GREAT place to shop.

I usually drive 30 minutes just to come to this location when I have 2 5 minutes from my house. I usually get excellent service and find what I want except today. Worst experience ever I could get this by my house. Patricia the cashier at self check out is Nast and has a smart mouth it was not my fault the self check out system takes a while to look up HD credit card info but all she had to do was verify the license and it would have been fine she got an attitude because she did not know what to do and argued with me about using a self check out line. If a register was opened I would have used a register but no self checkout was only line open and free.

again my wife and I go into a home depot store and they hit it out of the park. To the young Lady named Chris thanks so much for your help with the selfs and child proof doggie door...Chris you Rock...THANKS

The store is always organized neatly. The staff greets you upon arrival. I often need assistance, the staff walks me to the item(s) & if it's heavy, they will lift it in & out of the cart & into my vehicle. This I greatly appreciate.

The store is very clean, and someone greets you. This Store has excellent customer service! Aaron Geisen ,millwork specialist, helped us out in the appliance department and saw my purchase through from beginning to end. He was attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable. If I ever need help there again, I hope he's there!

Since we started a home remodel six months ago, we have spent A LOT of time visiting several different stores. We always come back to Home Depot in Alton. The staff is friendlier, more knowledgeable and shows genuine appreciation for our business. We will continue to shop at Home Depot!

Peggy in the flooring department was very helpful and assisted in getting the floor tile we were looking to match. She knew exactly what it was and where it was. Most helpful H.D. employee we have had the pleasure to meet in a while. She puts the staff in flooring at the Edwardsville location to shame.

I'm in this store often and always receive friendly and great customer service. I think it's difficult to find good customer service these days in general, but not here! Joshua Kolb in the carpet department was extremely knowledgable about his products and was super helpful in assisting me in making a decision. I will admit that I wasn't expecting this from a very young man. What an asset to this store Joshua is!

The staff at Home Depot is always friendly and willing to help you find whatever it is you're looking for.

Nothing in or at this store needs to be fixed, repaired or replaced. It continuously has the most well-informed, polite and helpful employees. The products throughout the entire store are well organized and with a large variety in every isle. The restrooms are spotless and the entire store is very clean. Well the little birds in the "out door area" could use some personal hygiene training LOL
