THE STORE REFUSED TO HONOR 10% VETERANS DISCOUNT ON MY ONLY PURCHASE OF A $9.48 ITEM EVEN AFTER I SHOWED MY DRIVERS LICENSE WHICH STATES I AM A VETERAN. NOT GOOD ENOUGH APPARENTLY FOR HOME DEPOT I'LL BE SHOPPING OTHER PLACES FROM NOW ON WHICH HONORS MY VETERANS DISCOUNT ALWAYS. .

PERSONAL ARE VERY HELPFULL AND FREINDLY

This is the second time this month I’ve had to beg, badger and plead with an employee to do their job. There are always a few bad apples in any operation. But I’m sensing a trend in this store that it’s a place to chat with your co-workers and text with friends.

The friendly staff is consistently ready and willing to help me make the best purchases. I can count on them to discuss with me my planned purchases and to offer solid guidance when I am unsure or just plain ignorant about something I am doing with my "fixer upper" home. Whenever I find that I have to go to the Liverpool Home Depot I always go there in a great mood because I know that when I leave I will be much better off.

Mike Fidler in the kitchen cabinet design area was friendly and helpful even with my small project. He was knowledgeable and accommodating.

Moved from out of state and was looking to purchased a new refrigerator. Linda Woodcock, Appliance Specialist was most helpful in assisting us with the purchase. Linda walked us though the entire purchase process to delivery which also included applying for Home Depot credit card. Thanks Linda.

From the onset of a phone call I made to the Lawn & Garden Department and spoke to Chrissy, to the help she personally provided in answering all my questions regarding the self-propelled Honda lawnmower and helping me to put the bag together and ensuring I would feel comfortable with its use before leaving the store, to the high regard her co-worker put her in, to the cashier, and finally the help loading it to my car was a shopping experience beyond compare! There should be more people who care so much about their work and in people's comfort level as this employee did for me. Truly what makes Home Depot a must-go-to store for your home needs.

Your employee over in the drill department gave me the wrong drill 2 times, and told me because I paid a certain price that is why she grabbed that one, so she knew it wasn't the one I wanted but gave me what she thought I should have. I used a coupon at customer service and instead of doing her job like the manager asked her to, she just did what she thought was right for what I was paying. She even argued with the manager. I spent over 4 hours total in 3 days coming back and forth to that place. Spent most of my time waiting around. I was told by Homedepot.com to come in and have customer service place my order because I had a competitor coupon, that process alone literally took 1.5 hours. The woman manager refused to order my freezer even though it was for sale on their website, she stated "I refuse to order you any appliances because they are on national shortage". Very unprofessional, especially when .com told me I could have it ordered in store. The rest of the staff were nice. Nothing but a big cluster there. Big waste of time for 10% off. Never again....

Awesome store as long as you don't have to order anything . Shipping by three stooges ! ! Takes a solid month to get anything . When you get it its either beat to death or half your order is missing .

Great store very clean and great service everyone was helpful and friendly and good prices and signs everywhere to help you find what you need.

Do not go to this store to purchase anything like a ring doorbell that u have to bring a ticket up front , after waiting 15 minutes while employees were just hanging out . Waste of time

I had a great experience at the Clay, NY store buying paint. Al, in the paint department, took his time and graciously helped me choose a paint. The number of the color I wanted was no longer in the computer. All checkout people were very nice and helpful.

Employees are all very helpful and friendly.

The store was wonderful and everyone was so helpful and the associate brought me right to where I needed to be to assist me in finding my products. The young man Nicholas in Hardware was extremely helpful. The lady at the cash register Chloe was great as well.

The staff on Sunday were very young, poorly trained, and not helpful. 1 out of 5 staff that we interacted with was helpful. We had to step out of the way for store employees walking (and talking to each other) down an isle. Trying to order fence panels. Special order desk bluntly told us 'go to the service desk'. At the service desk the Employee was clearly not sure what she was doing. I asked if she was comfortable taking this order. 'No, but this is what they pay me to do." Panels were out of stock, so she asked another employee for help. That employee was rude to her as well. Very short 'I can't sell what we don't have' and walked away. Finally cashing out with a few other things, the cashier explained that with COVID, mills and shipping are way behind. Everything is backed up. She actually had some empathy for us not getting our materials. I would normally not need it, but it stood out compared to the other employees we interacted with.

I was disappointed in my visit to Home Depot because I was misled. I was told you were out of stock of Top Soil and Miracle Gro Garden soil. But when I got to your store for something else, both items I discovered were in stock - in abundance. I had sought to place a curbside pickup order but was unable to due to your being out of stock. I got my items though their was no assistance available at the time, but the cashier was efficient, friendly, sympathetic and apologetic when I explained my dilemma to her.

I have shopped this store for years, and as of late I have noticed a lot of personnel leaving and the customer care lacking in many ways. As a commercial account holder I have chose to go out of my way to shop at other stores, as I shop exclusively with Home Depot. I may never step foot in that store again until changes are made.

I had a very poor experience on Monday, May 18th. The employee James was very helpful. I was in flooring trying to buy a large amount of flooring and asked if they would match the price from the Auburn and Ithaca Home Depot. I showed him the price on line for Auburn (but they only had 8 boxes in stock and I needed 25). James took me to his Supervisor. The supervisor said they do not match other Home Depot stores, they only match Competitors. Now that's not logical. I was upset and left. I went to the Cicero store and spent $1,600 on the same items. The Cicero store quickly matched the Auburn and Ithaca price and that saved me $100. The Clay store needs to educate their Supervisors.

Please call ahead to make sure the store is staffed to load gardening materials such as mulch and other heavy items in your vehicle.

Purchased Vegetable Plants, but some didn't fare so well to the unexpected frost we've had. Asked for a discount and cashier called garden dept, and agreed. And gave me 50% off. I really don't think I would have received such compassion and empathy as quickly as I did anywhere else.

It’s amazing that after years & years of shopping here, that it can take only one horrible experience & unbelievably rude “Manager” & associate, to make you never go back to give them your business.

Sales associate Rob M was fantastic! He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to help me figure out exactly what I needed for an urgent plumbing job. Thank you Rob!
