Finding what I needed was fast and even faster checking out

I bought what I needed for a job I have in the early morning, came to the store right as it was about to close, I was in and out. Thanks to associate Donna at the self checkout!

We shop daily in a Home Depot. Deerfield is always clean, and easy to check out. Our only challenge is to find help when in the store, or someone that really has any knowledge in the building industry.

5 star customer service at Deerfield store. Both representatives went out of their way to identify and solve a problem. They were patient, efficient and friendly.

Matt in customer service was fantastic. He came out to my car and took the 3 boxes of tiles out for me. Thank you Matt!! He also made the return process very easy.

Sale Cashier Jorge was super patient with explaining and answering all my questions. Offered great opportunities for discounts and made sure I was 100% satisifed with the experience.

All around great store! Plenty of inventory and employees who know the trades.

Best shopping experience ever.

The electrical isle needs help. The shelves are not stocked. There were many items without bar codes or prices. There was no one around to answer questions, cut electrical wire, or bend conduit. There were no pipe cutters stocked in the electrical conduit isle. There is a clear lack of employee training. Employees don't approach customers to ask if they need help finding a product. Very disappointing. :(

The staff at the paint department were extremely helpful. They were able to match my colors from another manufacturer and were able to work with my small budget:) Another staff member quickly helped us through the self checkout when we needed assistance. Thank you.

A bunch of high schoolers hanging out and no regard for customers or their needs. If you’re looking for any type of assistance, this isn’t the store for you.

The associate Michael in Electrical was the most kind and patient person ever - I would return to the store just to be helped by him! Also Lee in electrical was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great staff and a very clean store!

Great service and helpful employees.

I had such a pleasant experience at the Home Depot in Deerfield recently. Being inspired by the beautiful Spring day, I decided to purchase bags of garden soil and mulch, not realizing it would be a lot to handle and load in the car. Jeremy and Corey (on separate days), cheerfully loaded the trunk refusing to accept a tip for their individual services. They, along with the cashier, Maria were very helpful and genuinely kind. They actually made this shopping experience a very happy one. Thank you for your fine service!

This particular Home Depot has helped me renovate three bathrooms and a kitchen as well as supply all my needs for my new home. I was so happy with all their support after my kitchen remodel that I baked the employees brownies!

Every employee that I came across at the store were very kind, courteous, and helpful. Keith expertly answered all of my questions and helped me out so that I could properly and safely complete my home project. I was so happy with the help that I asked for his manager to inform them of my exceptional experience. Jonathan, the store manager, also turned out to be fantastic and made me feel appreciated as a customer. Thank you to everyone that I encountered there and keep up the amazing work!

Coming in from out of state we are not familiar with this store. All the employees greeted us and helped us find the items for which we were searching. One in particular went out of his way to determine the project we had, to suggest a better product to use, and walked us to that aisle and handed us the item. Great customer service!

Best store in the area hands down!

I have been to this store many times. It is always clean. The staff is very helpful

The cashier that checked me out was extremely rude to the person in front of me as well as condescending. The person in front of me was an older asian man who's card was declined and the cashier just kept telling him the card was declined. And then just proceeded to tell him what to press over and over and over and over again. "Do you want an emailed receipt?", "Hit no.", "Hit no."., "Hit no.", "Hit no." Then he checked me out, I told him I had 9 of this particular item. And then I went to pay and I had assumed the store accepted apple pay so I held my phone out to the POS system. The cashier's response was "good luck with that, you're going to be holding that for a while". I would have accepted being told that they don't accept contactless payments. But his attitude was what bothered me.
