Always a pleasure to stop and buy needed contract Builder and Electrical supplies at the last minute or at the beginning of a job. They are always in stock and the employees are 100% Top Notch in customer service as well as having everything we need .

In your appliance department There is A gentleman named Tom that assisted me with my purchase of a new stove. He was very pleasant ,very helpful at all times,several other customers needed help while I was there he appeared to be the one to go to when someone needed help and he was kind to all of them while still taking care of me at all times.It is so nice to be treated nicely in a store today,most stores have lost that touch with their customers.

They have a large selection of items in stock. The store is pretty clean. The employees are very knowledgeable about where products are located when I ask them for a particular item.

If you are going to buy kitchen appliances at this store ask for Tom.

We have our choice of Home Depots in this part of Connecticut, there are at least 6 stores within 20 miles of our home. Of these, the Derby store is easily our favorite, mainly due to the professionalism and positive attitude of the employees there. Service is unfailingly prompt and always pleasant. Thank you!

ALWAYS SEEM TO FIND WHAT'S NEEDED FOR MANY HOME IMPROVEMENTS, ESP W/ASSISTANCE!

I love Home Depot. But this store needs major restructuring. Their inventory is lacking and a mess, customer service reps are rude and clueless to help. I dread coming to this particular branch and avoid it as much as possible. I have spent hours in here looking for material I really needed to end up getting no help, and finding it myself in an area it foes not typically belong. Store is dirty, scattered and unorganized. I usually don’t write reviews but this particular experience really upset me. The cashier was absolutely rude and terrible. I hope for some attention to be paid to this franchise in the future, it has great potential. But it’s currently an abomination. The cashier was GERALDINE 6226 00019 10199

As I’ve written in the survey that I took, the Home Depot employees that I encountered at Store#6226 in Derby, CT were outstanding on my 9/25/19 shopping trip and always offered service with a smile. What a pleasant experience! Starting with the Returns Desk who was very empathetic with me regarding my return, to Yolanda who was outside her own department to help me find a sure fit for a carbon monoxide detector for my home, to the sweet gentleman in the key department who helped me find a trigger snap ring with a helpful smile on his face! Wow! Such customer service that I hadn’t experienced in other stores in 80 years! The store was not only well organized, stocked, and clean but it also hired the very best people to help out!

The girls at pro desk rock every time I go there they are awsome samantha,paulet.

Waited in the plumbing section of the store for 40 minutes (No exaggeration) for assistance that I never got. The kind ladies from the self checkout had to assist me because he never showed up when he said “he was oh his way”!

I WAS TO 5 STAR BUT THE MOUSE/CURSOR OVER IT SAID "EXCELLENT" WHEN THERE WAS/IS ONLY 1 EXCELLENT, ABOVE. YOU MAY CHANGE IT TO 5 STARS!

I usually go to the store closer to home. I was in the area for another reason and stopped. The store was clean and organized. Enjoyed my visit.

After waiting 45 minutes to get help from an associate, I purchased a "new" John Deere riding mower. After renting a HD truck to get it home, I tried to start the mower. Nothing. The engine didn't turn over, no signs of life. After further inspection, it was apparent the mower had been used and returned. The bottom of the deck had grass on it and there was 1.4 hours on the meter. This wasn't easy to tell at the store, as it was bunched in with a number of other mowers. The Home Depot sold this obviously used mower as new and didn't even take the time to confirm whether it worked or not. When I contacted the store, I was told I needed to rent another truck to return it.

The Derby home depot is close to me for a short drive down to pick up supplies that I need for improvement projects in & around the home. I always get assistance when I'm there. I must look like I'm always lost & confused so I get asked all the time I'm by myself. If this store has it in stock & on the floor that I need I can find it. As long as the bathrooms R clean I am a happy camper. I just wish they were not always in the back of the store. I do hope this store stays right in Derby, CT. It seems to be the only store in operation on Main Street Route 34 for now.

Store is well stocked and has many if not all employees working hard to make shopping as easy as possible and make shopping fun. Marie at Customer Service is a gem of knowledge and helps greatly. Connie B at self-checkout makes checking out of bulky items easy with a smile and good cheer. It is really a pleasure to shop at this Home Depot because of full stocking and the wonderful employees, here in Derby. I just wish shopping online was not so downright difficult and dealing with Home Depot online and by phone was improved greatly. As an example of online dysfunction this feedback almost wasn't accepted for some stupid nickname entry rule/guideline revision necessary to complete.

Associates excel. Connie B at checkout very helpful. Cashier at Customer service, Marie also a delight to solve credit problem with. Appliance associate WJA 875 helped a lot with appliance ordering.

Rude employees not all but some lady named Amy or Aimee and some guy who was in the cleaning department asked me did i need to smell the cleaning products ..uhh yeah..i need to know what im purchasing especially because it was a new product.. no one has to pay for bad customer service anywhere.

Everyone was very helpful, The young lady w/ the dark hair at the online order pick up was on her game and knew exactly what needed to be done on that busy day. Mike in Home and Garden was amazing he was extremely helpful and went way beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The gentlemen that helped find the fire pit I was looking for determined to find it and he did. The customer service on that day was above 100%

The store is very clean and the employees really work as a team. They are very friendly also. Items were easy to find ..and employees were very helpful .
